You can feel the gel numb the area where it's applied but wears out within 3mins. You will need to apply again and again. This is my honest view. The pain is still very much there.

short term pain relief
I have ORN (please look it up), but exposed bone on inside of my jaw gets very painful. This cream gives very temporary relief. I can easily use 3 tubes a day, more if t ravelling in a warm dry area. At £3.50, the cost of this soon mounts up. The producers are on a winner, profit wise. No wonder that GP docs in UK are very reluctant to prescribe, that if you can even convince them to do this in first place. Also, a larger use tube would be useful , cos it feels that, as soon as you open it, its finished

Effective pain relief
My mother had mouth ulcers tried bonjella and mouth wash. Nothing worked but this did give good pain relief.
