Love these woks
Just ordered my second Ken hom wok after my first died after 5 years because my wife put it in the dishwasher and it rusted. I see a lot of poor reviews about burning and sticking. You have to treat the wok with vegetable oil prior to use. Heat it till it smokes then rub the oil around the whole wok. When finished was only in dish soap as it’s non stick then when cooled coat in a layer of oil again and leave till next use. The wok will eventually really turn a burnt colour which is normal.

Ownership experience initially spoiled by bad packaging; non stick really isn't!
To start with, the packaging card sleeve was retained to the inside centre of the wok with a half inch wide thin disc of glue which would simply not unstick. Tried everything to get it off, starting with soapy water and finishing with methylated spirit, via white vinegar, lemon juice and worktop degreaser. Nothing would touch it, and of course abrasives like cif couldn't be tried. Took over half an hour of hard work to shift it in the end, which has rather tainted the ownership experience. And all so futile - the glue was entirely unnecessary in the first place. And so to using it.... Pretty awful, really. The so-called non-stick surface is nothing of the sort; cleaning it after use is an absolute nightmare. It's also too steep sided to fit the Rangemaster wok support. Not a patch on the dirt cheap one it replaced, which finally succumbed after 30+ years service but would still just wipe clean after use.

Wok like no other!
I'd had a Ken Hom wok about 20 years ago that had finally died, it was amazing. The handle dismantled for easier storage, it NEVER stuck food to it, only needed seasoning once in a blue moon .. it was special. Then one day it got put in the dishwasher and died :( Roll on few week and I *really* fancied a Chinese takeaway - not going to happen with Lady Lockdown sitting on your shoulder - so I decided to try and make some fried rice in a normal pan. Don't bother, it's a bad idea... Anyway, so I was googling away and remembered that Ken Hom did a non-stick dishwasher safe wok, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm impressed, and my Ken Hom wok standards are already VERY high. It's a wok, it's non-stick, you can stick it in the dishwasher, the handle comes off for easy storage, it get oil SMOKING hot in no time, but BEST OF ALL ... you can make PROPER fried rice in it! Very, VERY happy customer!

Ruined after one use
Whilst using the item, food was constantly sticking to the bottom. We used a soft ended spatula to cook with and after washing it (with soft cloth and sponge only after soaking) it was noted that the bottom had discoloured and scratched - meaning the soft ended spatula caused these marks. The product says that it's metal tool safe, I can only imagine the state it would have been in if we'd used one!

2. kullanımda teflon alanı soyuluyor. Sadece elektrikli ocakta kullandığım halde soyuldu. Bu kadar para verip en iyi WOK tava almak istiyorsunuz ama sonuç hüsran oluyor. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

First I must admit I didn't plan on buying a non-stick pan but when it arrived and I realized I had bought one I thought I would give it a try: I followed the instructions on preparing the pan. Added some oil after heating the pan to just above medium. Watched as the non-stick surface dissolved and I was left with an unusable pan. Don't buy.

Très beau produit de qualité. Aucune adhérence lors de cuissons, même si on laisse un peu trop cramer.

Guys carefully at the size cause I got the 35 cm and it's huge like a big pot but if u have a big family or a party it does a great job. I'm happy so far I used it only once and you must let it heat properly before adding the oil or liquid as it says u can make soups in it also but I didn't try that yet:) great value I hope it'll last
