Professional Audio Bluetooth Power Amplifier - 2-Channel Rack Mount Bridgeable, LED Indicators, Shockproof Binding Posts, Cooling Fans 1000 Watt - Pyle PTA1000

I purchased this item to DJ a small wedding reception. It worked perfectly fine on a pair of 15"s 300w rms speakers. I'm not stupid enough to really try to push 1000 watts out of that amp so with my little setup it worked great with amp power to spare. Im just about to buy one more of these for another gig with a larger amount of space to go with a second pair of 15"s. Before you buy any amp make sure you do your homework and know the difference between rms watts and max watts, make sure you know the differences between 2ohms, 4ohms, 8ohms etc. I mean really, who advertises an amps rms power? So is this really a 1000 watt amp? Yes you can get 1000 watts max out of it, but I don't think you would get to enjoy your amp for long if you push it that hard. This is a great amp for the money if you use it properly. Update!! I bought two more. They're reliable so far. My first one runs flawless over more than a year now so I decided to get two more since I bought a pair of PADH152 double 15 inch Pyle speakers. Hmmm. I run one amp on each bridged. Seems like I have too much power for the crappy speakers. I'm going to replace the woofers with real ones but. oh yeah I'm reviewing the amps. They're great and powerful. Love em. Great amp for the price and simply a great amp all around. I just wish Pyle could simply be honest about their wattage ratings. It seems like they have some third world rating system. To me, 20 American Watts equals 100 Pyle watts.

I am quite impressed with this amplifier for the low price it has. I am currently using it to run a speaker system in my room(for movies, music, and video games). One channel is dedicated to powering an 8" 400 watt subwoofer at 4 ohms and the 500 watts of power is perfect for this. The second channel is used to power 2 JVC satellite speakers for upper frequencies. They are 8 ohm so really the amplifier can go 250 watts max with them. This system sounds very good for movies as the subwoofer can recieve a lot more power(those store-bought surround sound packages generally come with an underpowered subwoofer) thus the bass frequencies are excellent. For music I reccomend using an ipod or pc connected to the amplifier, that way you will be able to pre-amplify the audio signal and get the RMS value just right. I have tried using a flash drive plugged into my xbox 360 connected to the amplifier for music, but the speaker system is way underpowered as you can't pre-amplify the audio using this method. Anyway, this amplifier works great for the application I am using it for. I can imagine it would work great for applications such as live sound, PA speaker power, etc. I almost forgot to say this, for the inputs it accepts either 2 cannon male inputs, or 2 1/4" male mono jack inputs. For outputs you can use either the three conductor speaker jacks, or the 4 binding posts to connect speaker wire directly to the amplifier. This amplifier is bridgable, so you can get 1000 watt max power output by using the middle conductor speaker jack(it is labeled) or by connecting the speaker wire to the 2 positive binding posts(no negative involved). If you need 1000 watts of power for a particular application then this amp is great for the price and I highly recommend it. Hope this review helped.

I purchased this amp to use as a set up in a shop where I store my toys and tools etc. No major need to audiophile sound but does a good job. Plenty of power to 2 DJ speakers and makes a lot of noise. My only beef with the amp is that there is sometimes a hum at start up that disappears after I turn the volume down and back up. For the price I paid for what I am using it for this is a definite value. Update: I have purchased a second PTA 1000 that I am using bridged on a 15 inch Pyle subwoofer to go along with the 1st amp that I am now using to drive 4 DJ speakers. These amps have held up well and I even use them to DJ parties on occasion. Just did an Oktoberfest party and let them run at high volume with Oompa music for 7 hours. The Police came at around 10:15 and let us know that the music was too loud and that they had never had to tell anyone to turn down Polka music. I have also used them to set up for backyard theater applications. These amps have been a very good purchase.

Compre um modelo y me mandaron otro modelo ... el anuncio trae entrada usb, tarjeta de memoria, pantalla digital, pero me llegó un modelo totalmente diferente...
