Plenty of storage without the bulk. The Weekend Series Tackle Case (3500) features multiple pockets and attachment points to hold anything you need for a day on the water. The versatile tackle bag also includes two 3500 StowAway tackle boxes.

Plano needs to hire some actual fishermen on their design team.
It seems like every time I purchase a Plano product desinged for fishing it could have been great but is missing features that Plano's R&D team should have thought of. This bag has a waterproof rubberized bottom but it does no good because it needs to wrap up around the bottom an inch or two. As it is now, rubberized or not, it's still going to get soaked. Next, the cheap mesh pockets on the sides of the bag. They serve no purpose. They are too short to hold a water bottle without falling out and they are too loose to carry anything without worrying about it falling out. Put an actual water bottle holder on one side large enough for a Nalgene bottle with a cinch cord so you can put a smaller water bottle in if you want. On the other side a zippered pocket or pouch. The mesh is cheap and was solely done to cut costs. It's a dedicated tackle bag so how about an actual holder for a pair of pliers? Nope. Plano makes a large loose pocket on the front to hold an additional 3600 box. Great, two clips I have to undo every time I need to unzip the bag. I've bought half dozen Plano bags over the last four or five years and I never learn my lesson. They look great until you actually use them then you realize how much practical stuff they got wrong. Here's another, this bag holds four 3600 boxes in the main compartment so how many boxes should we include, four? No, three. Huh?I want to like this product but Plano's choices leave me scratching my head.Edit: Used this for my first full day of wade fishing and won’t be using it anymore. It needs a dedicated place to carry pliers on the outside of the bag, as I guessed before the mesh pockets on the side won’t securely hold a water bottle - it just flips out. The compartment that holds four 3600 boxes needs to be unzip separately from the section above it. You have to open the entire backpack to get at the boxes. I keep soft plastics in the top section and multiple times they just spill out when you are trying to get to the boxes. There is a pocket back behind the top section and stuff falls down into it constantly. There are no rod holders. In summary, this is not a well thought out tackle bag and I would not recommend it.

Not a wise design
Pros:1. Quick access to 1 tackle box on the outside2. It seems durable.Cons:1. Must open the whole zippered compartment to access the tackle boxes on the inside.2. The divider for the large inner compartment is useless.3. Every time you open the large compartment and remove one of the boxes everything on top of the divider comes tumbling down.4. The design for the mesh on the sides is lacking, it's not useful at all.I would not buy this again.

Must buy tackle backpack
If you’re a avid angler or just starting out I recommend this backpack. I was able to stuff this thing to the gills, I shoved 6 Plano 3600 size tackle boxes and it held up, it was a bit lumpy but it worked, for a comfy fit stick to 4. In my opinion solid material and storage space, there’s also a punch to out a hydration bladder, but I just use it as an extra stowage pocket.

Not a bad pack but there are some problems.
Size is good, the included tackle boxes are nice. But the zippers are a pain to use, especially the 2 on the main compartment. I guess it's kind of a 'perfect storm' thing...if you have a water bladder in the sleeve, and the tackle boxes in the bottom spot, and have the compartment open all the way as you would when accessing the boxes, those zippers are a pain to get closed. The hydration bladder area should have some more structure. There is also no way to secure the hose to the shoulder strap(s). Like I said, not bad but I'm shopping for a replacement already.

Plastic-Clips Often Pops-Off!
The quality of the bag is good but, the plastic-clip that snaps on and off to hold the bag together often pops-off on the bag I received. While walking down a slight slope at the lake, the clips would pop-off and some of my gear would fall out. Either a larger plastic clip or perhaps a metal clip would be better.

Geared more towards kids
It’s an ‘ok’ bag. Feels like it’s good quality, nice zippers however the design is somewhat flawed. When you have the bag full and remove one of the bigger boxes the bag falls down. Would be so much better if they used stiffer material to keep the bag up while the main zipper is open. Would be good for a young angel with minimal tackle.

Amazing tackle box
We have bought this style for both our nephews (age 10 and 13) and Now our 6 year old son! It’s great for them all these to handle and operate! Awesome storage options, plyer holders, and comes with 3 plastic cases for luers and room for a couple more! We love this back pack style !

Great tackle bag for back country or ice fishing!
I purchased this Plano Tackle Backpack with the intention of transporting my Ice Fishing Flasher and 3700 sized tackle tray while on a Lake Trout fishing trip in Northern Manitoba and things fit almost perfectly. While the bag is designed to fit four 3600 sized trays, I opted instead to put my single 3700 tray in what most school type backpacks would designate as a laptop sleeve, the tray fit perfectly and allowed my Humminbird Ice 55 Flasher to fit in the remaining space. There was even enough room for my spare Strikemaster 40v auger lithium battery and a couple of water bottles in the main compartment.Overall I am very happy with my purchase and will be getting use out of this bag throughout the year!

ease of transport
i had been with a saddlebag for so long that it was time to free up my hands and try a backpack style for my fishing excursions. This bag has almost everything I need... it will last me for years to come for sure!Could use a bit more outside pocket space for the little things that I might need access to - otherwise it is a great purchase for sure!
