We have a golden retriever that is bad about barking at our neighbor's dog. We have to stay on top of her to keep her from barking and being annoying. I got the product very quickly and got it set up. The instructions weren't super easy to figure out, but I managed. The color guide on the instructions was helpful to know what mode we are in. It charges using a USB, so it's nice not having to buy batteries. It works for all sizes of dogs and comes in two different collar styles (belt buckle and buckle snap type). I used the snap type. This one was an attractive looking collar to use. It was partially charged when I received it. I have it on buzz and sound. I have not used the shock. I put it on my dog. She ran outside to bark and it made its sound and buzzed her. She immediately ran back inside and looked at me as trying to figure out what happened. She has since been doing this and will give one bark on occasion and it will get her attention. I'm also using this with the no bark command to eventually teach her not to bark using my words. She's not barking as much even when she isn't wearing it after about 3-4 days of use. I plan to use it on another dog who barks at UPS and such who come to the door.

Great collar. I only have to use the sound and vibration mode to get my dog to be quiet. No shock needed because she thinks she will get shocked if she continues. Easy to operate and charge. Also has interchangeable collars and pegs included. I highly recommended this product.

Our house backs up to a "green belt" with a walking/bike path. We have a corral fence between our yard and that path. Our 10 year old Lab, Kali, happily watches people and dogs alike travel along that path and has never seen the need to bark at anyone. We recently adopted a Rottie/Doberman/Shepard mix (aka "guard dog"), Mollie. She is the sweetest dog in the world and happily greets other dogs on her walks, but when she is in the back yard and dogs are walking on the path she feels the overwhelming need to bark at them. We've tried reasoning with her. We've tried telling her "No!" and "Stop barking!", but alas, the temptation was just too much.After much reservation, I decided to try this collar (appreciating that there was a "no shock" mode). After the first few days, we switched to "shock mode", happy that it doesn't shock initially, and the intensity ramps up if the barking does not cease. After about a week of that, the barking significantly reduced. We haven't even put the collar on her in over a week now (she is a smart dog!) The collar clearly startled her when it activated, but didn't hurt her. It was the (seemingly) random deterrent that she needed to realize that barking may not be the best idea.The only downside? When Mollie and Kali play, Kali does bark at her frequently and the collar has activated. A VERY unfair situation for Mollie, so I'm happy that we don't feel the need to have her wear the collar all the time anymore (maybe we should put it on Kali during playtime!)

Was easy to assemble. Works well! My dogs have used bark collars before, but they would go off randomly not only when barking, this one did not do that.I have mine set to vibrate only and it works great. It makes a sound first to warn them then it will vibrate. A few times when my dog barked quietly / not her full bark, the collar did not vibrate at her but with her full barks it did. Note I have a 20 lb dog, might not work with quiet barkers. Also came with an instruction packet, not pictured.Strap adjusted easily and can definitely accommodate all dog sizes.

Got this bark collar but was a little worried due to the lower price. It came with instructions which was great. Set up was easy and it is easy to use. It does not go off when another dog in the room barks which is nice. Past collars in the same price range we have used only have a beep or vibrate option or if they had shock it would go off randomly. Have had it for about a week and so far have had no issues. Our beagle likes to bay at 10pm at night and we have neighbors connected to one side of out unit. Very happy customer so far. Going to buy another for my other dog. Highly recommend

We have been using this collar for nearly 3 weeks on our 1.5 year old Rough Collie. It is so easy to set up, my preteen did not need any help.The collar has completely curtailed her excessive barking. She used to go nuts over any lawn mower in the neighborhood, or squirrel, or wheeled trash bin, or bird, or pretty much anything. Now, even without the collar, she barks only when playing or properly alerting us.Even with all her neck floof, you can see her thinking when the collar buzzes a reminder after she barks and she refrains from continued yapping. She is not afraid to keep barking, if she sees the need (the dreaded UPS man), so I am certain it in no way hurts her. While our Rough Collie is wearing the collar, it does buzz if our German Shepherd barks close enough.We love how quickly the collar has taught our pup not to bark excessively while roaming the back yard.

I have tried a couple different bark collars with my 4 year old Belgian Malinois and I must say, this one worked on the very first day!! I have it on the most sensitive mode where if he barks, it first beeps, then it will vibrate and finally, if he continues it will give him a little "shock". It isn't an inhumane shock just in case anyone is wondering!The instructions are fairly straight forward. I blew into the little microphone sensor. The collar beeped, then virbrated and you take the contact piece with the little light bulb and place it onto the collar shock contacts, and the light bulb will light up.My dog had a continuous bark issue; at birds, people walking their dogs, etc and this collar has made it possible to have a little peace and quiet and our neighbors too! We do take it off at night and let it charge. I have gone several days without charging it and it stays charged! It is like having a totally different dog!Very pleased customer!!Marie
