KLH Kendall 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker - Each (Walnut)

Can't brag about these enough, The walnut cabinets are beautiful! Fantastic features like magnetic grills, dual connections, nice spike kits, and kevlar drivers. My recent change to higher quality cables really brought out the detail in these speakers. I hope these last for a very long time, I am in love with them. Be aware of a few things, these are very heavy speakers, the cabinets are walnut veneer over . 750 mdf, also dimensionally they are tall and narrow yet deep, make sure you have enough room for them to stick out. Also for optimum soundstage you need a minimum of 7ft imho. With this setup it will seem as if there is a center channel.

NON AUDIOPHILE REVIEW: These speakers sound OK but nothing like I remember from the vintage pioneer speakers of the '70s, with 12" woofers. I have powered my Kendalls with an Emotiva integrated amp ( $999 ) and added an Emotiva 12" sub-woofer ( $900 ) which really makes this a stand-out audio experience, IMHO. The Emotiva sub woofer shakes the house, which makes this 2.1 system great for watching movies as well. NOTE: There are times when I forget to turn on the sub-woofer .... at lower volume ... and while walking around the house doing chores, I don't even notice. But these are not times when I am sitting in my chair wanting an audiophile experience either. Just saying that they do fool me at times with their base.

These speakers are amazing. I was more than a little worried dropping this much on a pair of speakers sight unseen and never heard but boy I am not disappointed. They showed up in pristine shape and on time and the customer service was great. I received a message with two separate tracking numbers so I can track both boxes vs just the one Amazon provided.I paired them with a Cambridge audio AXR100 and have been running them in. The first couple listens I was not too impressed but as they run in every day they seem to sound exponentially better.They now sound better than my friends setup that cost 3x as much as mine and they still need many more hours of run in time.

These speakers sound awesome, great high-end response and great base. Crisp and clean mids. I am so happy that I made this purchase! I have a stellar strata integrated amp and it really woke that thing up! These speakers go louder then I can comfortably take and have no distortion.

Sound reproduction is clear, clean and without superfluous coloration especially for acoustic and vocal content. It is a a real pleasure to hear each instrumental voice in a symphony with superb separation.

This is an American made product an icon well made and awesome sound.

The media could not be loaded. For this price point this pair is light years ahead of the competition in sound,quality,and craftsmanship! I'm running a sansui preamp and a old onkyo power amp (165 wpc). The sound is rediculous ! High,low,midrange makes no difference there all great with ample room for adjustment. These are the best sounding speakers I've ever owned and I'm 62. I purchased the wood grain style and they look very classy. The more hours I get on them the better they sound. I'm using them strictly with a audio set up.
