Sight and Scent Mapping Program for Blind or Sight Impaired Dogs and Cats

I had a patio deck built at my backyard door. SightScent helped my blind dog navigate from the backyard door to the patio stair entrance. I only needed to use it for a few days. He has the route mapped out in his head now.

I purchased for my dog who suddenly went blind (SARDS) hoping this would help her navigate the house better. Unfortunately, it took too long to deliver. Since I ordered this product her health took a turn for the worse and we had to euthanize her shortly after recieving this product. We only started her on step 1 and did not get any further so we could not properly evaluate this product.

My fur baby suddenly list her vision. This product really helps her navigate and become re familiarized w her environment. I’m following the instructions.. starting with scent number 1 and adding scent 2 and 3 gradually. I’m a satisfied customer thus far. But, I’d like to know where to purchase more sticky dots ?

Do not waste your money. Desperate to do anything to help my dog better navigate and locate specific areas in my house I purchased this product; even after reading reviews which were mixed. I do want to say that the directions are poorly written and really do not give proper instruction on how to use. I used 3 scent makers and 3 drops of the first bottle and once I placed the scent makers - my dog would not go near those areas (no matter how much I coaxed her) and began sneezing whenever in the area. Upon removing markers I also removed the paint from wall (so now I have to have some one come and repair the wall - ugh!). ALSO, please be aware that you will be charged for a return - (Less 10% - All items in new, unopened packaging) (Less 15% - Items in opened packaging in new condition with all pieces) (Less 20% - Items returned damaged, obviously used, or missing parts) So in reality, if you consider the markup - the seller is still making a huge profit. My advice, use the money to buy your pet a toy, because this product does not work and the scents at least the the bottle I opened are not pleasing to humans or dogs.

I wasn’t expecting much for my blind boy, but I have really been surprised. I placed the markers and encouraged him a few times and he got it! He feels more in control—thanks.

After about a week on the water bowl, it does not seem to work. Going to continue trying it. If it works I will update my review. Water bowl location seems to be more important

I don't review a product unless I love it or hate it. I love this product for so many reasons and here is why....I have an elderly blind cat. Cancer took his eyes and they were remover surgically. Ziggy used to rely on me to tap or stomp in front of him so that he could feel the vibration and hear the sound to which he should move. This took alot of patience and time. Anything for Ziggy. I found this product online before Amazon and decided to purchase it. The seller was so kind. I got advice and tips and feedback from a person who designed this product specifically for the same reason I was buying it....to help their dog overcome blindness and live his best life. I continue to use this product after three years from my original purchase date. The oil is not meant to smell great. It's not meant to freshen the air. It is meant to be a safe and distinct smell so that your animal can catch the scent of it. And this does. You need to completely follow the directions and have patience with it. Do not buy this product if you want a quick fix. This has allowed my Ziggy to go up and down stairs safely, find the bed, find the sofa, find his feeding area and find his boxes (which it not an easy feat by any means). So yes if you are looking for something to assist your animal with navigating in a dark world, this will work with time, trial and error, patience, and consistency. And FYI...the oils last sooooo long. The felt dots need to be replaced but the seller is readily available to help in my experience and alternatives are easily accessible if you just take a minute to think about what would worm best for you snd your fur baby. Hope this helps at least one kind animal that needs to learn to rely on a new scense when vision is no longer an option.
