Lifefactory Glass Hydration Bottle Onyx 650 ml

I really like this bottle! I have used it everywhere, from a gym to uni lectures to various outdoor activities, and it works fine everywhere! The bottle is sturdy and thanks to the silicone sleeve you can get a good grip of the bottle. The sleeve also protects the bottle, I have dropped the bottle once but it survived without a scratch! There are markings on the sleeve in ml (from 100 to 600) and oz (from 4 to 20) so you can easily see how much liquid is in the bottle. The mouth is wide which makes it easy to fill, to drink from and to clean. The bottle size is 650 ml. I think the best thing with this bottle is that water tastes fresh without any plastic or metallic tastes you get with plastic and metal bottles. The only downside with the bottle is its weight; with the cap it weighs 493 g when empty, approx. 1165 g when filled with water. (I do understand that this bottle is heavier than a plastic one because it's made of glass but it feels a bit heavy anyway). Overall, this bottle is highly recommended!

Brilliant bottle. I was looking for ages for a glass water bottle to use at the gym and work that was glass and all parts could go in the dishwasher and this fits the bill! I purchased the sports cap separately and interchange both caps. Great to know I’m not using single use plastic bottles anymore and drinking water from glass I’m not ingesting chemicals from plastic. I put the whole bottle in the dishwasher leaving the silicone protector on and it comes out of the dishwasher perfectly. My husband was so impressed he now has one too! This size also fits well into the drinks holder in the car.

I was looking for a glass water bottle after reading a bunch of horror stories about plastic bottles leaching a variety of awful things into the water. This bottle has not disappointed me. It washes well and leaves no smell or residue of previous beverages. If you occasionally like to drink squash or juice, you can - I think hot drinks are also fine but I haven't tried that myself. The rubber cover can be removed and the mouth of the bottle is wide enough for a washing up brush to get in there - it's also dishwasher safe. I would like to buy the straw cap for the bottle to make drinking on the go more convenient but will wait until I find it at a great price

It was a bit expensive for a waterbottle, but I am in love with this company’s glass water bottles. They are very durable and last me on average, 2 years (only because I end up cracking it). The plastic sleeve is great for grip and the mouthpiece is perfect to drink water, for washing purposes, and to dry before next use. This waterbottle had a funny smell once I opened it, but was easily fixed with a good wash. This particular glass waterbottle size is a bit bulky compared to the slimmer designs I usually get, but I still love it the same. Water tastes great!

I really loved this bottle, the glass is sturdy and the water always with a fresh flavor, I would love to have a bigger one though up to a liter, but this one will hold enough for the gym and with no worries of breaking it since I have dropped it once and still nothing happened. I would recommend to everybody.

Been using these bottles for a while now but they are a straight five-star now they have the easier to open lid.

I love this bottle and I haven’t dropped it yet! It’s a 600ml bottle which I refill about 3-4 times a day! It doesn’t haven’t the plastic or metal after taste like my previous bottles! It’s dishwasher proof even with the rubber surrounding on! I take it pretty much everywhere and can’t wait for the gyms to open as obviously I will be using it there!! And at the same time helping the environment!! Thank you xx

After just a couple of months use the rubber cap cracked, making the bottle unsealable, and hence unusable.

I just got this today and I love it. The bottle is designed ergonomically not only in shape but to give you a good natural grip with a cool decorative silicone wrap on the bottle too. Easy to hand wash with a little soapy water and a bottle brush that's it. The glass bottle is nice and thick so it's not going to break easily. It's not tempered glass so you don't want to put it in the freezer, microwave or boil it and go right from cold to hot liquids or it will crack/break, but I don't think it was intended for hot liquids anyway. I wanted something glass so my water isn't contaminated with plastics where more and more are being identified as leaching chemicals into the liquids it contains. Now it's not just BPA, it's BPS and others too so plastic in general in contact with food and liquids are not a healthy combination to include plastic wrap, plastic storage, including frozen food and styrofoam, etc. I have even discovered after buying milk in glass bottles, it tastes much better and I'm sure it's because the plastic milk bottles are adding a taste from chemicals leaching into it from sitting in contact with plastic. Now on this bottle is Plastic #5 Skew top (Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer. It is strong, tough, has a high resistance to heat and acts as a barrier to moisture). Although I wish it wasn't, it also doesn't actually sit in contact with the liquid; it is just a cap cover and to pour with, which only has a brief contact with the liquid as you drink. A metal cap would be ideal to be totally plastic free but I haven't seen one that is a sip style yet. This glass bottle is the best one I found in all my research.

After researching PET plastic #1 which is used in single use plastic water bottles, I was concerned about the risk involved with antimomy leaching into the water. This can happen if the bottles are stored for a long period of time or if they are exposed to certain temperatures. There are some safer plastics used in reusable water bottles, but I decided that glass was by far the best option. The taste of water from a glass bottle is far superior than any plastic. I like the large mouth of this bottle because I can easily add ice. I like the handle on the lid which makes it easy to carry. It may be heavier than plastic but still worth it. I really like the overall style of the bottle. It's unique look generates questions which gives me an opportunity to encourage people to ditch plastics as much as they can.

Perfecta para llevártela a cualquier parte e ir rellenándola. Además es bastante resistente, iba balanceándola y se me escapó, cayéndose volando con fuerza al suelo, y resistió para alegría mía!

J'ai cherché longtemps la bouteille qui me permettrait de remplacer les bouteilles en plastique... Point positif: elle ne sent pas mauvais comme les bouteilles en plastique, je l'ai déjà fait tombé une fois et n'a pas cassé et très bon matériaux de composition. Point négatif: un peu lourde mais on s'y fait et s'est pour la bonne cause! Et l'ouverture est un peu grande et parfois j'ai un peu de mal à boire à la"bouteille". Mais pour noël je me fais offrir un verre repliable... Ma mère en a acheté une moins chère ailleurs et plus légère, mais le verre est de nettement moins bonne qualité et le silicone n'entoure pas correctement la bouteille au premier choc elle cassera. Investissement que je recommande, presque 2 mois d'utilisation aucun regret. (Je la prends tous les jours pour aller travailler)!

I workout a lot and have used many water bottles including Nalgene and Sigg. I purchased this one because I was on crutches and needed an easier way to get water (the top handle helped me to carry it with crutches) and because I put essential oils in my water. The Sigg bottle top swelled when I put essential oils in it. I didn't want the spout top because the essential oils pull chemicals out of the plastic, thus I wanted to drink right from the glass. I have to watch when I attempt to screw on the cap because if I don't make sure the threads are aligned when I screw on the top, the top will leak. It's only happened 1-2x as I am careful when I screw the top back on. I've used it daily for over a month. This bottle cleans the easiest of all!I LOVE this bottle!
