We believe that it was the start of what saved them. The disease of Canine Distemper is long-believed to be incurable. Our six dogs are alive five months after the seventh experienced full-blown symptoms of Canine Distemper. Too late for Toby. Not too late for the others or for your dog, maybe.#############While this will be long for you to read, it may possibly help someone somewhere because it is as truthfully reported as we can possibly make it. There is no excuse for this product to misrepresent its ingredients.#######################HOMEOPATHYBecause of the tragedy of our dog Toby, the attempt to save the others, and the discovery of homeopathic products, we have learned a great deal more about homeopathy and wish to clear up what it does and how it seems to work.Ingredients in homeopathic products are deemed safe because of HPUS standards and we truly believe this.They lack the equivalent of a risky vaccine - and are therefore totally safe with what is called a NOSODE. What this is, is an essence, a "memory" preserved in water and alcohol, taken to a high level of development.Homeopathic development of any product (by-product?) is produced by taking one part of the herb, element, or some other natural ingredient and combining it with alcohol and pure water of so many parts, either nine or 99, usually.The alcohol preserves its purity and the water retains the ingredient or ultimately, the "force," "charge" or whatever the world will someday agree upon, to call it that water can retain, and water appears to be the only thing that can do this....having a "memory."The Roman numerals X (ten) or C (100), for example, depict this relationship. 30C means that it has been treated thirty times and therefore contains very little actual ingredient. The majority appear to be reports from journalistic people or unqualified people who lack understanding of the original article's language, and who have misinterpreted what they read.The only other answer for the misinformation of what symptom appears when, etc...is that the reader misinterpreted that original information.All of this appeared to come from one misinformed or misinterpreted source and literally has blossomed here and there.##########################The early symptoms of canine distemper virus consist of being inconsistent.Now, after having KEPT ALIVE FOR FIVE MONTHS NOW: all six of our remaining dogs who were definitely exposed to our seventh, Toby, who had to be euthanized because no one was capable of diagnosing the disease and if they had, would have informed us that there was absolutely no cure -###########################.....$1500 later from the finest local emergency animal clinic around, and with no homeopathic vets (or human physicians) within sixty miles....They missed the symptom of a CLEAR NASAL DRIP, the preceding shivers, the change in behavior from a loving dog to a frightened, threatened dog. Two of them had the "most severe form" of current Canine Distemper. Supposedly..."Hard Pad" shows up only in the third stage. I have news for people. Two of ours developed HARD PAD in the first three weeks. It took 6 more weeks to overcome this for Gianni. He had been the healthiest of the six, we would say, and he overcame it, with administrations (in very carefully-studied-and -calculated safe amounts) of Vitamin A, coconut oil (monolaurin) Vitamin C, Vitamin D, eliminating virtually ALL B vitamins from his diet....absolutely no kibble.We fixed their food avoiding all B vitamins for that first nearly-four months and after the first three and a half months started adding fresh vegetables with a small amount of fruits (fresh tomatoes, apples, blueberries, strawberries (yes, with pesticidal warnings abounding), steamed broccoli, green beans, sweet potatoes (beta carotene) and other things.They are all still alive. The second dog, Lily, with severe "Hard Pad," nearing the end of this fifth month, has gone from a nose covered with the black, pebbly-looking Hard Pad, to its turning brown and appearing, as did Gianni's...to join itself and in places become smooth before gradually diminishing. She still has it, meaning to us that nobody is safe until this completes itself with her. We are still hoping that, with the addition of some fucoidan, that has raised her metabolism and taken off four pounds (she walks now, rather than waddles) she will beat this.########################We suspect strongly now that the source of the Canine Distemper Virus was from the shelter dog that we adopted three months before Toby became ill.
