I'm Dangerous...I'm Not Gonna Lie

Absolutely adorable book. I used some of her ideas in my journals/collages.

I have been a fan of Erin Smith's work for several years. Her acerbic wit combines wonderfully with her sometimes charming, other times downright weird pictures. One of my favorites (which I have on my wall) is "it's exhausting being a lover and not a fighter..especially when you know one good smack would end it".The book is a compilation of work that she has on cards, napkins, etc. and other work that I have never seen before. If you are not familiar with her stuff, check out her web site to see if it is your type of humor. If it is, like it is mine, this is an inexpensive way to have lots of laughs in a small package. It is also nice knowing that at least ONE person knows what I am thinking.I will buy more for hostess/thanks gifts. But not for the people I am thinking about when I read "your boots may be made for walking...but mine are in case I need to kick your ass". They will get re-gifted stinky candles.

This book is absolutely top of the line with hysterical quotes and funny pictures; it makes me laugh out loud every time I read it! I’ve probably bought ten of them and every person I’ve given them to as gifts has totally loved them! I’m sure I will buy more!

Love this book ... I'm not gonna lie. The images/collages that form the backgrounds are amazing. The sayings are wonderful, snarky, funny, wry, true. I took a chance based on the title (which I loved and still think is brilliant) and am so glad I did. This book is one that I have already turned to a couple of times when I was feeling blah. I opened the book at random and starting feeling better immediately. Just brings a smile every time.

After I read the book and got my laughs in... I notice so many of these fit so many of my friends so I bought the MCS Format Frames (12 Pack), 6 by 8", Black and cut out some of the pages and put them in the frames and gave them to my friends for Christmas. I would read the quote and then see if everyone could guess who it most resembled. It was a blast and they're all still talking about it. You HAVE to have a good sense of humor!!

I bought several of these as a "happy" for a group of friends who meet monthly for lunch and they loved them. Erin Smith is wickedly funny and we were all howling with laughter as we read them out loud, finding just the right quotes that fit each one of us. Very entertaining!

Among all the other inspirational stuff out there, this is by far the funniest and most genuine expression of positivity and real life. I loved the graphics and the thoughtful placement of each page. It made me laugh out loud on a quiet train!

I loved the attitude of the book. I cannot explain it any better.
