It worked well on snow cover windshield’s, but when I scraped the ice it chipped in 3 places. I think they should used stronger plastic.

I dont think it will survive being dropped ,to lightweight

It arrived when it was expected and it works great. It is also excellent that it gives me the longer reach I need for cleaning off my vehicle, where as the curved one that I have makes it difficult and awkward to use. The Hopkins 2610XM Subzero 52" is what I have been looking for and I am glad that I bought it when I did. Will be putting it through testing here when we get more snow, then will let people know how well it holds up.Additional Information: Updated on 2-12-2016.We have gotten a lot more snow since I did the first part of the review. I am realky glad I got this when I did because it has been very handy in having it around. I really like this snowbrush/ice scrapper over the curved one that I have. It is a lot more fuctional and it is better to use. The squegge part, (sorry, I know that is spelled wrong, or at least it looks like it is, but I am getting tired and don't feel like looking it up. Will try to look up another day to check spelling), but anyways, I really like it and that has been really nice to have. It is nice in that if there is just snow or very light dusting of ice drops, it takes care of them without any problems. It also works really well when pushing the snow off of the windshields and windows.The rest of the item works the way it is suppose to and the only complaint that I have, if it can even be called that, is to possibly have two rubber hand holds on each end of the main handle. Ah, not really a complaint, like I said, but more of a preferance, which is what I was wanting, but again I am tired and the brain is a little slow at moment.Would highly recommend buying and when the one I have stops working I will be buying this product again.

I got this for $4.99 and for that price it's well worth it. I live in NYC and we have had 2 snow/ice storms since I got it so I've been able to try it out twice. I really like the squeegee side, which I used both to push heavy snow off the car and to clear snow from my windows. The brush is pretty good too, makes it easier to break apart the snow stuck to the car. The scraper is EXCELLENT. Probably the best scraper I have used. It easily scraped the ice of my windshield and windows with ease.I took off one star because I did have some issues with this snow broom. First, I wish the brush head was wider. At only a little over 7" wide, you have to make several passes get the snow off sections of your car. Second, the brush head and the scraper are not level on mine, which gets annoying when I have to rotate it when I flip it over to use the other side. It doesn't lay flat because if the brush is flat on the ground the scraper is turned about 45 degrees, so it balances on it's edge. Also, the soft cushion grip slides, especially when the metal handle is really cold.For the $5 price it is excellent. I wouldn't pay more than that for it. My 10" snow broom was only $10, and that clears the car much quicker, but doesn't have a squeegee and the scraper is not as good. Between my two snow brooms I am prepared for whatever mother nature throws my way!

I would travel through the MIsty Mountains, along the water that flows past Rivendale, sneaking through Mirkwood and slithering down Gollum's lair, just to have a chance to use this majestic, multitasking mallet from Middle Earth. This man Hopkins was a genius, creating a shaft of yellow capped with the magical scraper of frozen water on 1 end, and the dual edge brush squigee on the other. And, it doesn't end there (the mystical capabilities of this wand of wonder), (and no, there is not ANOTHER end to this three ended stick), gently turn the outer ring and pull, ever so easily, the long shaft of the great cane, and lo and behold, it extends itself lengthwise (the girth remains constant as does the smile you will be wearing). Afixed with grips of strong material, I know not the origin, this staff of Winter will become a trusted friend and companion against the evil of Jack Frost and Old Man Winter (Young Man Winter as well, but he is usually off skiing somewhere with some snow bunnies). Jack will be drawn to his knees begging your forgiveness and the old man with act like he never even knew you. The only reason this is not a five star review is that it lacks the needs salt dispenser, similar to a Pezz Dispenser, that would make any trip to the driveway less of an adventure and more of a romp.

I've had several products like this before. This one is easy to expand/collapse with its twist action.The grip is comfortable and shows no signs of wear.The length has been ample in clearing snow and other wintry buildup from both my Durango and my Traverse, neither of which is insubstantial in size.It does a great job clearing the windows.The only minor quibble I have with the design or assembly is that the squeegee blade slides side-to-side off the frame and requires frequent readjustment during use. Perhaps this is by design to provide tolerance for the pressure applied during use. I'm not sure and it's not a major issue, but it does add time and another repetitive step when clearing off a vehicle.Would buy again or recommend to a friend.
