Classic style and high-end performance doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg (you need those for cycling, after all). Size runs small and only use SPD-SL Cleats!
I am a size 12 in American Shoes, and I ordered a 47 M (EU). My feet are not really wide nor are they really narrow. These fit me very well and felt awesome. I put some SPD cleats on these thinking I would try them out on my SPD pedals. On my first ride (40 miles) they felt good until about mile 25 when I started feel hot spots. Then about mile 35 I went to unclip my left shoe but couldn't! Somehow one of the cleat screws had slipped out of the shoe making it impossible to unclip. Luckily I got my other foot out fine and was able to loosen the shoe out of the pedal with an allen key.So do not use SPD cleats with these shoes. Stick with SPD-SL's or LOOK.

HEAVY SHOES / HUGE TOE BOX
I do not recommend this shoe for the following reasons:-It is really heavy!!-The toe box is extremely roomy (height wise) while the rest of the shoe fits snug.-My right foot got numb/tingly/hot/uncomfortable after only 10 miles. Loosening the straps didn't help.Spend a little bit more and get a lighter weight shoe that fits better and is much more superior than this one. That's my advice. (If you have huge, fat toes to fill up this roomy and tall toe box, then I guess you could try them out. But still, they are really, really heavy to pedal.

First time using bike shoes and clips
I ordered these on a Wednesday night and received them on Friday afternoon. Amazing. I used them on the next day, Saturday. I wear a 10.5 wide or 11 mens and ordered a 46. I'm snug on the sides with a little play in the toes. These are my first clip in shoes and love them. I use Shimano three screw clips. The clips were used and broke in. These have increased my lower gear cadence and increased my mile by twenty seconds in the first few rides. At first my left foot was numbed and the bottom of my feet hurt. My feet hurt with tennis shoes and baskets too. The last time I went out the numbness has come and gone with in the first twenty miles then goes away completely. My feet didn't hurt at all after the last time i rode and seems to be better with every ride. Guess my feet have to get used to them. I do take them off during breaks. I usually do between twenty five and fifty miles. I have had the shoes for about three weeks now and have done a few long rides and several short rides. So far so good and they feel better with every ride. Can't beat them for the price.

Amazing Value for the Shoe
Unless you are looking to get a second mortgage in order to drop 90 grams of weight, this shoe should is one you should strongly consider. Having now ridden it for about 1000 miles in the last 3 months, I can confirm that it fits beautifully, and the construction is such that it still looks like it's new. I've even worn this on several 40 mile rides in 30 degree weather and felt great as long as I had some thick socks on (no shoe covers for me just yet because I've felt great in these so far). The velcro is also super-durable and can be adjusted to the tightness you like. Would happily buy this shoe again.

Good shoe
Great shoe. Easy to pull on and off. I was concerned that it might be too small but there was actually plenty of room. I typically wear 10.5 and the 45 fit well. Took a little bit of getting used to a "stiff" shoe but I'm completely satisfied with it. I paired it with the Shimano PD R-540 and they work like a dream. Much faster and more efficient than just having standard pedals.

Great shoe for the price
I wear a 11.5 to 12 US normally and these fit perfectly with a 47. I am a pleased with everything about them. light, breathable and just a good shoe. I actually used a shoe sizing chart at Performance Bike web sight. I use these with Shimano's 105 pedals purchased here on Amazon.I would say my only complaint is the breathable ability is making for a cold shoe without covers. Come warm summer days I will really like that.

Fixed my knee issues
Bought these to replace my 5 year old road shoes. Though it may have something to do with the cleats on my old shoes (which I replaced once a year), getting these shoes made my knee pain go away. I guess like running shoes, road bike shoes must break down over time without looking "broke down."
