This stuff really does work! And I only dropped a star because the smell of this original one is awful. Obviously that's subjective, but I will buy a different smelling one if I need to buy again.Used on a very old musty smelling carpet as a temporary measure until replaced. Musty smell gone the next day.Note: use less than you think you need - the fragrance is overpowering.

It smells like Ammonia or something l, I can’t quite put my finger on it but it is not pleasant I’ll tell you that!Like it keeps thing ls fresh but the smell… it’s difficult to explain until you smell it

I can't fathom the good reviews of this product. It may help to erase odours but it certainly adds its own, thus removing the problem & causing a new one! It smells very similar to that babies nappy powder mothers use. Quite unpleasant.
