Absolutely Love this sunscreen! The scent is fabulous, hydrating and dos not leave this skin feeling greasy. I miss Hawaiian Tropics dark tanning lotion with spf, so this is definitely the closest to it!

Last century, Hawaiian Tropic products were the stuff teenagers coated themselves with to lay out in the sun & turn a shade of burnt sienna. That is all I knew of Hawaiian Tropic until a sample of Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration was included with a disposable razor. I used the sunscreen sample expecting it to feel greasy, slimy, icky & to not protect me from the sun at all. Surprisingly this sunscreen is not oily, is not suffocating & doesn't make me sweat. It also offers good sun protection during the day. I also discovered the sunscreen can be used on my face without causing breakouts; as a matter of fact I found the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration sunscreen is more soothing on my face when it gets dried out then my regular face moisturizer. After using the sample, I ordered a bottle from Amazon & I will order more when needed.

This is the typical "30" sunscreen lotion that seems quite mild when you put it on. It absorbs into the skin without major problems, and it has a pleasant scent and feel to it. Like all sunscreens you must periodically reapply it, but it does seem to work (I did not get burned when I was wearing this in Hawaii), so it's all good. As I have gotten older, my skin seems to be more sensitive to lotions and such, and this one does not cause my skin any problems.

By far my favorite sunscreen. I have used this for the past 4 years in varying climates (Hawaii, Mexico, Washington State, Colorado, Florida, California). The smell isn't too "sunscreeny" or "girly" (boyfriend LOVES to use it too), it soaks in quickly, keeps the skin moisturized, and the container stays sealed while traveling. All too often I would open my luggage and find my sunscreen decided to leak because the clasp didn't stay closed during transport... not with this packaging; love it! I used this on a 14 day trip to Maui, HI. I didn't do any "pre-tanning" or prep to ensure I didn't get crisped... I only used THIS product, applied it as instructed, and didn't burn once even though we were outside in the sun for 10hrs a day. Can't say enough about this brand/product.

I love the smell and texture of this stuff. It goes on like a lotion not a gross greasy sunscreen. Love the smell and it feels like it absorbs instead of sitting on top of your skin. I haven't tried this specific product in the water yet (but I will next week and will adjust my review accordingly if it doesn't perform very well), but I have used the green ribbon sunscreen with great success on a beach vacation so I assume this will perform the same.
