I’ve bought the SSL GS 3000 about 4 years now and never have any problems. So when my 4 channel Planet Audio left rear channel stopped working, I had to replace it. I tried Blaukpunt 1500w which was disappointed. Someone had mounted it and the box was opened. I returned it. I didn’t want to find out what might be wrong with it, after all this supposed to be new amp. I went for this amp. and I love it. I should have done this before I know I won’t be disappointed and look forward for years of success with it.

I was really impressed with this amp. The power ratings are exaggerated but don't let let that discourage you. I was able to run an entire car system off this amp. (Four 6 and 1/2" co-axle speakers on the front two channels and a 4 ohm 12" subwoofer bridged on the back two channels.-bass knob included) And I was shocked at how well it sounded and power it produced!Currently using this amp to power two Alpine-S 6 and 1/2" 80watt door speakers and two Alpine-S 6x9" 85watt rear deck speakers and this amp is plenty powerful to make system scream!The sound quality this Class AB amp is really great at S/N ratio of 100. Very clear and no popping or odd noises when you power on and off the car and/or system. A feature I really, really like is the "input gain sensitivity switch" which allows you to choose between two input settings. 100mv-2volt or 2-8volts. Really nice feature which is very noticeable and so useful with so many head unit radios putting out 2 or less volts output through the RCA's. I used 6 gauge OFC wire to power it and quality RCA interconnects.Some other great features are, soft start tech-no popping sounds, high and low level inputs, bass boost and includes a bass knob. Looks pretty slick too!All in-this is a great Class AB 4-channel amp! Sure this brand inflates the power numbers like so many other brands do, but after owning this amp 6 months and having it wired in different configurations, I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it!Hope this review helps in your search for the amp that is right for you.

good range amplifier for running mids & highs, be smart if you are going to use it for subwoofers

Installed this amp in my toyota tacoma to a pair of Rockford Fosgate 6"×8" door speakers and a pair of Retro Manufacturing full range truck speaker boxes with 8" woofers . Sound was and is muddy , but should be amazing for a 1000 watt amp right ? WRONG !!!!! This so called 1000 watt amp is actually a 120 watt amp at absolute max. I had my friend stereoMOJO dyno test this amp on his youtube channel to show the real results and to keep anyone else from getting scammed by SSLs ( BOSS audios ) false claims . This isn't the sellers fault as they can only go by what is on the box but SSL and parent company BOSS should be ashamed of themselves . RMS per channel is about 22 watts . Most head units do that much and more in today's technology. I will be getting a better amp very soon ( probably TARAMPS ) as I have two of those in other vehicles and they are amazing . This amp tho ? It isn't even sub par. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this amp by all means. I got taken by buying this amp but please don't make the same mistake. It was too good to be true and turned out to be a huge dud . I'd give it zero stars if that were an option. Again, stay far far away from this so called amp . Sound quality is awful. Do not purchase.

in put no out put very hard to have replaced

Bought amp right here on amazon, got here fast and was well packaged. Imma start off by saying imho only purchase this amp for aftermarket door/accessory speakers. It works very well and for the money its a damn good deal. Currently running 2 polk audio 6x9's (120 rms each), 2 jbl 6.5's (55 rms each) and two super tweeters 70 (70 rms each) and everything sounds freaking awesome when i turn it up, no distortion at all. Also amp has never overheated on me yet, although it does get hot. I recomend buying hifonics amps for subs if ur on a budget like me as these amps dont do good with subs for some reason but they do work beautifully with speakers

I use this amp to power 4 sets of 6 inch mids and tweeters. It sounds great and has plenty of power. The price was right on this as well.The amp feels very solid and does not get very hot when running after hours.

Good clean sound for a budget amp, honestly it sounds better than I had expected.

sounds ok but there is no way in hell this thing puts out more then 500watts. 2x 15amp fuses x 14.4volts = 430 watts. at 4 ohms you might get 50 watts a channel and 100 watts into a 2 ohm load.

muy buen amplificador para medios y mucho mas equilibrado dos medios y un subwofer de no mas de 500w bridge de rms para el subwofer bueno es muy versatil y te brinda diferentes configuraciones de sonido no es el mejor pero es muy bueno
