Fotodiox8" Reflector for Elinchrom Strobe Light Calumet Genesis Strobe Light

This is a good quality product, and much cheaper to Elinchrom's version ($39.49 vs $14.95). There is a slight issue with mounting it to my BXRi500 storbes, it doesn't slide and lock in as smoothly as Elinchrom's, but with a little fidgeting it eventually does. It stood up well for the two event photography jobs I did.

What else needs to be said? I do wish it had an umbrella holder, but I've got a clamp for that... Otherwise, great product.

It's made well enough, however I can't get it to fit properly on an elinchrom D-lite 4 strobe. It just won't twist into place. However, the lock slider will lock, and it seems to hold securely enough. It works in a pinch, as in this case.

I had two of these previously and they were pretty good. The two new ones I got fit even better on my Dlite-4s. The metal does feel thinner than the two I bought over a year ago but they aren't tight fitting at all they feel OEM.

I have a 180WS Limo Studio strobe that does not allow for a reflector. I wanted a reflector to control the light output. At first I was worried it would not fit but it will go back onto the strobe without blocking the vents.

Not a complete replacement for an Elinchrom reflector. As just a reflector it's OK, but the inside diameter of the outer rim is wrong so there is no way to fit an Elinchrom grid. As well, the outside dimension is incorrect, so it won't accept an Elinchrom gel holder. The best thing I can say about it is that it fits into the flash head relatively well.
