EZ Shed 70187 Peak Style Instant Framing Kit

After working out that the “plans” from imperial to metric were slightly out, we did manage to get everything in place.The first picture shows our frame.We did adapt it to our needs as we wanted to make an extra canopy.Yes. It’s a two man job.No. The wood doesn’t come with the “Brackets”We used the exact timbers suggested for the framework and it’s a very strong, sturdy build.The extra strength in these brackets work well. Above and beyond our expectations.Even when my partner was sat on the roof screwing down the boards. He’s 18 stone.I would highly recommend this kit if you want a Bespoke shed.Loved making our beach hut so much that we have now purchased a 2nd kit to build another one next to this.

Bought this kit for a chicken coop.It’s working out. I wish the directions were less vague. Thank god for YouTube.com. I still need to build the Door. I should have just bought a preassembled kit at the Home Depot. After building I should have built an 8x8 instead of an 8x7 like the “guidelines” said. It’s sturdy and easy to make the cuts no miter cuts which was what I was going for.

Bought this because they advertise like its a time saver which it was not. Somewhat cheaper material wise but not much. It takes 2-3 people to build, its hard to get ridge beams in and when you go to secure it to your floor(not included so i built my own out of pressure treated 2x8’s) the brackets bend so the uprights can be plumb. Also, the way they say to install the studs on the endwalls only allows for 1.5” thick walls so i had to double the 2x4’s so i could insulate. I will not buy this ever again. I wish i had do my own thing, build a floor and 4 standup walls. Then build my own trusses and set them on top. Two people could build and sheet an 8x14 in a day. This took 3 days. Honestly spend an hour online learning how to frame traditionally. Theres free plans everywhere.

Metal thickness is too thin, and the angles were for something totally different. Materials list was incorrect requiring extra trips to lumber yard. In short.....less than useless. Will have to cut my own framing braces to even get the shed up. I have built 8 sheds before this one, and these frames were supposed to speed the job. It does not.

We were so excited to receive this. However, once we started the build the brackets were flimsy and cheap! Would not recommend to use if you want it done right. Ended up going to the local Home Depot and spending money to get better brackets! So disappointed!

i liked the easy to read and understand instructions. This kit help my shed to be build faster and sturdier. I bought two kits and made a 8 x 14 shed.
