Yes the filler cap is NOT in the same position as the old one. The new sideways position lets you lay the auger down to fill it! It was in the wrong position to start with! The new tank is easier to fill and works great. The OE tank was cracked and wouldn't hold pressure. As a result the engine wouldn't rev up without the choke on. I ordered the tank and a carb for cheap and the thing runs like brand new.

Although the description is incorrect, the picture is correct it's a fuel tank I got it for my auger. Shipping was longer than anticipated but came in good shape and condition

This box was smashed and it had marks all over it!!!

Took 2 months to arrive and it wasn't the correct one, the one I got it's not the one in the picture, the tank that I received had the cap on the side, not on top.
