Whats the difference between twin motor and double motor ?

The double motor gearbox can be configured with 4 different gear ratios. The twin can only be built with 2.

I have a Tamiya 1:35 scale Sturmgeschütz IV (Kit #35087), what else do I need besides this motor gearbox to make the tank R/C?

From what I can tell from TamiyaUSA your model is basically a static display. You are going to need an RC system (transmitter(s) / receiver(s) ), propulsion (presumably DC motors and possibly but not necessary a gear box like the one you asked about.
