Great investment! (darn near perfect)
The snow pusher really does do an excellent job. It takes the weight of the snow off your arms and back, making it much easier to push the snow. As other reviewers noted its about as hard as pushing a stroller. It will clear a path wider that a standard snow shovel in one pass, with significantly less effort.-ProsEasy on the back and armsHas a blade wider than a standard shovelRequires much less effort to use than a standard snow shovelI was able to plow one side of my block (200+ yards and 2 inches of snow) on about 10 minutes.-ConsWhile it has a 6" deep snow capacity its not really great at clearing snow when you want to clear a path wider than the blade. Because it pushes the snow directly in front of the shovel you'll wind up with small snow piles on both sides of the blade. Snow plows on truck are attached at an angle so the snow gets pushed only to the shoulder side.It can be a little sketchy to get the shovel to work on a sidewalk (or bricks) with standard cross grooves. The shovel will want to catch in the cross groove. Any shovel will have this problem. It takes a little finesse to lift the blade just above the sidewalk height to get over the groves.Other Notes:Contrary to the description you cannot flip the shovel, you have to turn it around. Also there is no need for the rope shown in a buyer photo. If you press down far enough on the handle the shovel blade will rise off the ground.I rate this tool at a 4.5 out of 5. If the blade were at a diagonal angle instead of straight, I'd give it a 5/5.

Back and time saver
Got this to deal with lighter snow when it's not worth it to break out gas powered snowblower. I have a two car driveway that's about 250ft long plus a 3 car parking area outside of garage. It use to take me a very long time clearing it with shovel, and it's a lot of work to take out snowblower to clear a couple inches of light snow. I always thought it would have been great if I had something to just push the light snow around instead of shoveling. When I saw this, I just had to get it to try. This winter we have had 4 snow events where I used this, and 2 more I did take out snowblower for. For under 2 inches of snow, this has made the job so easy and I almost couldn't believe it. Each time I cleared the entire area using one hand in just 20 min, and didn't even break a sweat. For comparison, it takes me an hour to cover the entire area with snowblower during heavier snow. The main reason I didn't give this 5 star, and I think I might be a bit harsh here, is that it pushes snow to BOTH sides, which makes it nearly impossible to get an area totally clean. I wish it pushed it to ONE side, or had some tilt that you can adjust. I ended up using only half of the pusher's width so I didn't keep pushing snow onto the pass that I just cleared. This also doesn't put much downward pressure for scraping so if snow got pressed onto surface, like been driven over by a car, you'll have a pretty hard time to get that scrapped off.

Second winter - easy on my back
The media could not be loaded. I bought this shovel last winter after seeing a similar roller pusher being used to clean snow in front of restaurant. I've never seen one these before and asked a guy to let me try it and I loved how easy it was on my back. Our local stores did not carry it but Amazon had a few choices. I I selected this one because of the 6" wheel and 26" wide shovel (many are wider). The large wheels let me handle 5" inches in one pass and the 26" width makes it easier to maneuver and store.Overall I am quite pleased! Over the last year I used it on wet and dry snow and both were easy on my back. It is best on snow under 5". When we got more than 5 inches (or dealing with snow banks left by a snow plow) I am able to do push the top layer by pivoting the scoop up and then picking up the lower layer on the second sweep. After I push all the snow to form a hill on the edge of the lawn I am able to push the snow hill onto the lawn by pivoting the shovel up and rolling forward. This lets me drive the snow onto the lawn without damaging the grass thus making room for the next snow storm. This shovel is best for doing straight lines on well paved paths without cracks. We have a crack at the end of the walkway and it always gets a bit hung up on it, but a slight pivot up allows me to get by without losing the snow pile. The empty pusher weight 11 pounds, so I find it easier to use than Toro Power shovel.A note on assembly - each type of a bolt and fastener were in a plastic bag with a label. They were easy to match up to the assembly instructions. This is my second winter with the snow pusher and it is holding up well. I like how easy it is on my back.Ali Julia review
