Awesome self defense / novelty / coin purse very high quality.!!.. the only thing negative I can say is I wish the handle was about 2 inches shorter.. I feel sorry for the person ..God forbid if I had to defend myself with this you might say it would knock them "cents" less...lol

I just received my "coin wallet" in the mail and first impressions are really good. It is packaged nicely and seems very classy. I immediately started stuffing American dimes and penny's into it. (They fit the best for less unused space and flexibility). It holds a decent amount of change. I'm just estimating but I'd say about 2 rolls of pennys. The seams aren't stretching and everything looks pretty good once the coins even out. Quality leather and clean stitching. The zipper is pretty heavy duty, so no worries there. I haven't "dropped" it very hard but it feels pretty strong.On an unrelated topic, I'd hate to have 2 rolls of pennys impact any part of my body.

I am sitting at my computer and marveling at my latest purchase from Amazon. I have ordered hundreds of different items from the Amazon shopping website and this is far and away one of my favorites. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, pristine packaging and presentation are superior to most items I have purchased online. This coin carrier is something I put in to action the moment I opened the package. I keep working the leather through out the day and it got softer and more pliable. I love the smell of leather and appreciate the workmanship that went into every stitch. To say that the material and artistry of this coin carrier is excellent is an understatement. I purchased two of these coin carriers, one for my wife and one for myself. I wanted my wife to have a reliable coin carrier and a ready-made self-defense item. I try to only buy the best for myself and my family; this coin carrier is absolutely perfect. I want to thank the company for providing such a wonderful product, taking such pride in their workmanship and fair treatment of their employees and care for their customers. I can highly, highly recommend this product to anyone who needs such an item.

As with all the H&D products I've purchased this slapjack is of extreme high quality. The piece which most concerned me before I ordered it was the zipper. If the zipper was of low quality the purse would be worthless. Well, the zipper is about as solid as it can be. This purse is not going to burst open should a thug attempt to challenge you. He will receive the full smack down of all the coins cloistered inside the solid leather purse. Very happy.

Bought two of these, one for me, one for my wife. Packed them both with dimes for ease of weighting and change storage. Seem to render an effective slap when tested on the palm, without an excessive amount of weight for pocket or purse. I’m confident that these could be useful in a self defense application. The zipper is a strongly made one and stitching seems adequate. However, based on where the zipper terminates, at the top of the business end, it is a little sketchy as to whether it will hold at under the stress of whacking something like a hard noggin without releasing the coins, making it unable to to be used for additional smacks to the predator. A locking zipper would be safer.

I love this product. It was ordered because we had one when I was a little girl and it brought back those memories of taking my dad’s change.
