COLT TOP 2 Chimney Cowl Anti Down Draught with Bird Guard RAIN Entry Protection

Super fit on my 280mm O/D chimney pot, appears to be excellent in quality and very well constructed. Fitted myself following the simple instructions included and very secure when fitted. Albeit it looks quite large out of the box, when actually fitted to the chimney, it is very well proportioned. An excellent product and good value from the supplier.

Easy to fit once you're up the ladder and on top of the roof! Replaces a similar design but different brand that lasted 10 years. This looks to be better but time will tell

With all the rain we've been having we had water ingress in the living room around the chimney, fired this and yes it stopped👍 really easy to fit would definitely recommend.

It took me longer to get the triple ladder out of the garage than you put and fix the cap to the top of my chimney.Check and work it out first before going up the ladder. Then make sure you pull as much of the excess clip strip through before tightening it up with the screwdriver as that will save a lot of time.Easy to fit.

I don't often write reviews. In fact, I never do. But Colt deserve a mention. Not so much the product itself as the splendid service from the manufacturer. I did not buy from Colt itself but from a reseller but still. My chimney pots were of such a special shape that the tails of the Colt Top 2 where not long enough to tighten the jubilee band under ornaments on the pots. I phoned Colt and they immediately sent two sets of extra tails so I could extend the existing ones. They arrived the next day with the compliments of Colt. Excellent !

Had to grind off the bit of 4 bolts but then it fitted well. The stated measurements dia, was questionable but it’s on and good

When it’s in the hand you can feel the build quality and the gauge of the metals used. Both are of very high quality.

The chimney cowl was easy to fit and so far very good
