Kolder Salad Dressing Bottle, Glass, 13-Ounce, Made in the USA, white

My previous diet consisted mainly of junk and beer. I'm now retired, and it has become exceedingly clear that I need as much fresh, clean food in me as I can get. The answer I came up with was: 1) ditch the beer; 2) juice raw vegetables, and drink at least 16oz of that juice each day (if not 32oz); and 3) eat a big salad daily, if possible.I like salads, but Im not crazy about them. But I always liked the make-your-own approach of Good Seasons. I couldn't find the lids to my two GS cruets (of course), so I started looking on Amazon, and came across this slick bottle.I just got back from the grocery store where I got a nice variety of vinegars and healthy oils. I already had packets of Good Seasons, so I used that for the spices (why not?), and then used the fill lines on this new bottle (for the Italian recipe) for the liquids. I used a nice red wine vinegar, and about a 50-50 mix of avocado oil and olive oil -- 2 of the healthiest oils out there. (BTW, adding the avocado oil prevents the olive oil from getting all clumped up when it's cold in the fridge. No more having to choose between using not-so healthy oils, and having to let my dressing warm up on the counter for 15 minutes for the good oil to re-liquify.)Think of this bottle as being the next generation GS cruet, because it has 7 more nice recipes printed on the bottle, beyond just Itailian.As for certain other negative reviews, here is my take on those complaints:1. The lid is perfectly fine. If you feel it's a bit on the thin side, it is a rather standard size that other salad dressings and other bottled products are sold with, so swapping it out for a cap you prefer is trivial. I've used other bottles for years with highly similar lids, and they are all doing great.2. If you feel the printing on the bottle is too small, then you need better glasses. The print size is perfectly legible.3. For thinner (less viscous) dressings like Italian, it would be nice to have a plastic insert that makes the pouring hole much smaller. But again, certain store-bought brands have these removable inserts. Simply keep and use one from a spent bottle.But my plan is to pour some dressing into a small (2.4oz) stainless steel condiment cup (sold on Amazon), and carefully drizzle the dressing onto my salad that way.4. There is nothing confusing on how to use the fill lines. Same deal as the GS cruets, only it has 8 complete recipes, not just one. Plus, each lists spices and herbs for each individual recipe. A very nice visual layout.Finally, don't let the handful of naysayers keep you from getting this cool tool to add flavor, fun, and variety to your meals, and fresh, healthy foods to your daily diet.4.5 STARS

It has various markings for oil, vinegar, and lemon juice for dressings. I just pour ingredients in and shake. Easy and perfect every time!

It's really nice and I liked the recipes but I didn't read the specs and i thought it was bigger. It doesn't hold the ranch I made using the small 1 oz packet.

I bought 2. One was fine, the other defective. The writing and lines on the defective one were skewed severely. I wasn’t allowed to return the defective one or exchange for a good one. Unless you are willing to pay twice as much for only one good one or worse, I don’t recommend buying this item. Be sure to only buy items that offer free returns. BIG mistake otherwise. I regret not paying attention.

I could have bought a glass salad dressing bottle with salad dressing in it for about $3. I would have just had to peal the label off and would not have any recipes on the side. The opening is small so you have to be careful putting the ingredients in.
