Bought this as a summer activity book for my 3rd grader. Flipped through it last night (he took it to bed to read) and these are QUALITY recipes so your kid can actually COOK (no ants on a log here). However, IMO the best/bonus part of the book are the tips and tricks: there's a section on knife skills! There is a discussion about the word panini! This book treats your child like a human and isn't dumbing it down. Even my 14 year old can get something out of this book (most adults could, honestly - very few adults know how to properly wield a knife). If you are serious about your child knowing their way around the kitchen, this is a fun book. Ordered it on sale and didn't know it was written by America's Test Kitchen. I can't wait to see what my monkeys cook up!

This cookbook is amazing. it had been on our shelf for over a year before trying it, and we are so glad we finally did. it has such a variety of options for preferences and occasions. a whole section of recipes for one person if one of the kids want their own lunch, and some recipes for the whole family. Teen daughter's favorite is the spicy blt wrap, the whole family loves to make these easy recipes.

So far, my son and I have only made 1 recipe from this, but we've thumbed through quite a few and they're all really easy to understand. These granola bars were great. And they give you little ideas on how to make each thing your own.

He just cooked omelette by looking at this recipe! Amazing. He loves the book and he says he will give 10 start out of 10. HahahaHe is planning to make blueberry pancake tomorrow morning for whole family.

I gave this book to my niece and she loved it. I loved that it’s very easy to understand and has lots of pictures. It also has great cooking tips. I would definitely recommend this book

Incredible book for teaching kids to cook, simple recipes and great visuals which help kids to get into the content.

We've made 3 recipies so far. It's been a great experience to spend quality time with my 8 year old boy. I even learnt some tips along the way

Very disappointed as bought this for my 11yr old's birthday. Had to convert all the measurements (in cups) and oven temperature (only in Fahrenheit), and the brownie recipe is the worst ever. Don't recommend.
