Coastal Pet - Safari - Complete Cat Brush, No Color, One Size (6.50" L x 3.0625" W)

The brush pictured is not the brush I received. However, the brush I got looks better.The brush I received is the 2-tone green color of other Safari products. The brush looks similar, but the handle appears like it is easier to hold than the one shown. The only downside of the brush is that it is a little hard to clean out.Most importantly my cat loves the brush and it works great.

Perfect brush for Ms Kitty. It is not too harsh or too gentle, she loves rubbing her face on it too so she doesn't mind being brushed. Seems to be good or at least decent quality too.

Very nice pet brush. I've had this brush for awhile now, and it still does a wonderful job of capturing loose pet hair. It is very easy to grasp and hold, and it's easy to clean. My feline prefers this brush, and she comes running with excitement when she sees me pick up her brush.

My kitty would bite me everytime I used this brush. I thought it would e a softer type of feeling, but she hated it! I went back to the metal hair-releasing brush and she is fine with that. Who knows the mind of a cat haha

I've had my cat with medium-length hair for about six years. We had this brush and it did a good job, since my cat's fur is neither incredibly long or thick. My previous cat was a Persian, and I would not have been satisfied with this to groom him; I used a stiffer brush and also a steel comb. But for a non-Persian cat with short- or medium-length fur, I think it works very well.So, for current cat I've had this brush right along, but it lost a little plastic tip coating off of one of the longer, coated bristles, leaving a stiff longer bristle without the coating protection. I cut that bristle off, but I wanted to replace the brush with the same thing. I think this model may have been retired; it sure isn't available all over. Was glad to find it on Amazon. You know, it's hard to explain to your cat why the brush (or food, or whatever) has changed.So, it's not for Persians or similarly long-haired, thick-haired cats. But for your medium-length fur, it seems to be fine. I gave four stars, since I can't say it's for all cats. It's not an intensive-grooming tool.

When mommy called me over I thought it was for something bad. She started to brush me with this and I was in kitty-heaven. I purred so loudly and rubbed against the brush and mommy to let her know she can brush me anytime. This is the very first brush I have fallen in love with.Now my sister wants to say something: I saw mommy brushing my brother and I wanted the attention. I hissed at him so he would move and I could take his spot. Mommy was disappointed in me but I didn't care, I got brushed! :)) This brush feels SO GOOD! My brother and I both love it and now that mommy brushes us whenever we want I don't get so mad at my brother. It's made me love mommy all over again and I'm back to sleeping with her and my brother.This is a big hit with both my kitties and would buy this again...nothing else I tried even came close to how much they love this. Male kitty is a long, thin hair, Maine Coon and Female is short hair calico. It works on both of them. Not the best for removing all hair...I didn't buy it for that..I bought it for how it makes them feel. Male kitty just had a major surgery and needed comforting and this fit the bill.

I used this brush many years ago when I found it at a local pet store. However, it was time to replace it and I was unable to find the exact brush anywhere. I got lucky, ordered it, and my cat loves the feel of the soft rubber tips on his coat and skin. The brush does a good job, along with the use of a comb. I would recommend this product. My cat is short haired but is a big boy with lots of hair and the brush works well.

It really pulls out the undercoat to make her coat soft & shiny. My cat LOVES this brush - she comes running when she hears me rub my nails over the bristles! She likes this brush more than she likes her cat treats.
