Great on-the-go toy for littles! We brought this toy for my 3 year old to play with during older kid's sports practices, games etc and it keeps him occupied for quite a while. Very fun to learn and see cause and effect with the different magnets. Super reasonable price for the amount of fun my kiddo has with it and a great stocking stuffer or easter basket idea. My 6 year old enjoys playing with it too, great for a range of ages. Return on investment for holding my kids' attention makes this a must buy! Obviously it is magnets, so not to be used in kids who still put things in their mouths.

We’re a house where we’re all a little on the spectrum, so we go through phases of interest and I try to keep everyone interested in something fun but education related. We got into magnets.. the pebble putty, magnetic blocks, etc. this kit added the education value but surprisingly it elevated the fun. It’s been 3 months and it’s still in our rotation. Kids grab it while watching tv and entertain themselves for ~20 minutes. Enough anchor toys in this set that there isn’t fighting over a specific item because each offer their own advantage (variety). I highly recommend this for home or in a therapy setting. Side note - the wand is strong enough that it helps the pebble putty strengthen its magnetizability.

We love this magnet set. Some of the reviews mentioned one of the magnets breaking when dropped, but it seems like Learning Resources listened and corrected that issue because our set came with a plastic version of that magnet so that won't happen. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars is because Amazon simply slapped a shipping label on the box and shipped it instead of taking the time to put it in an Amazon box. This resulted in our box arriving damaged. I contacted them and they allowed me to exchange it, but the second one was still shipped the same way. Thankfully the second one arrived without any damage, but it's still irritating because I always save the boxes our Learning Resources products come in to store them in our homeschool cabinet. I realize that Amazon does ship products in original packaging/boxes sometimes, but usually the listing says that it will be shipped this way and this one did not. All of the other Learning Resources products I've recieved from Amazon or directly from Learning Resources have always been packaged inside of another box for shipping.

This set has been great for STEM exploration and sensory bin activities. I use it with students to work on cause-and-effect, problem-solving, and early science concepts. The magnetic pieces are engaging and easy for kids to manipulate, which keeps them interested and curious. It works well for centers, small groups, or guided discovery in the classroom.

My grandson absolutely loved this magnet set. It encouraged lots of exploration and testing out different materials. He played with this set for hours and used it along with other magnet tiles to build and create. This was a great value for what I spent on it.

Kids like it (6). Its not too complicated. Would buy again.

I wasted money on a cheap product with metal shavings before, so I decided to go with this one instead. It’s clean, well-made, and has a high level of overall quality. It’s also great for kids to play with. I’m very satisfied.

Excellent STEM toy, fun and engaging! My 4 years old especially loves the orange magnet wand and chips. It’s exciting to see how the chips attach to the wand, and we’ve even turned it into an “I-spy” magnet game. Great hands-on learning.
