Elite Gourmet 7-Egg Electric Egg Cooker, Poacher/Omelet Maker, BPA-Free

Best $13 I ever spent and worth every penny! It works great! 7 eggs - poke a hole in the top > set a timer to cook for 12 minutes and they turn out perfectly every time. Then I put them in the sink with cold water and peel 'em. So incredibly easy to peel! Some here have mentioned a noisy buzzer but I've not heard it. As I said- it's on for 12 minutes then I unplug it. Maybe I don't have it on long enough for it to 'buzz'. I was puzzled by the instructions to poke a hole in the egg shell but it's easy. The bottom of the water cup pops off and there's a sharp point there to puncture the egg shell with. *Doing this is what makes the eggs easy to peel. There's really nothing to clean- just rinse and let dry. The metal heating element can get a bit discolored but this wipes off easily with a paper towel and white vinegar. I haven't used the poacher/omelet maker and it's not likely I will bc the portions are too small for my family. One thing I'll never understand is pricing according to color! Mine is stored in a cupboard so the least expensive white one ($12.99) is fine. ??? - $16.99 for teal and $24.99 for black. WHY?

I fell for the cuteness of that little yellow chicken egg cooker last year and just had to buy it. It was not great. The sloped top didn't completely close and the steam vent was low on the lid, and no matter where I turned that silly top, I always burned my hand on the steam. I donated it. Enter this Elite Gourmet Rapid Egg Cooker. First, let me say that it does not lie about the egg capacity; it easily holds a full 7 large eggs and the lid fits and closes completely. I live in a high altitude area and was very pleased to read that high altitude folks should use approximately 25% more water, which I did. My eggs turned out perfectly cooked and in record time! The water cup has a metal spike at the bottom, which is thoughtfully covered by a cap that fits the entire bottom of the cup. The cup is marked for number of eggs, such as 1-4, 5-7, as well as soft or hard boiled. Since I live above 4000 ft elevation, I will always use a full cup, regardless of the number of eggs I cook, and even with that, it still uses far less water than traditional boiling methods. I loved how fast this little gem is, and you will too! Also, there is a nice, loud alarm that beeps until you turn off the egg cooker, which I found very helpful. Once I turn off the alarm, I have a bowl of ice water waiting. I lift the lid, use tongs to place the hot eggs into the ice water, and let them sit for up to 20 minutes. This method makes the peels just slide off once the shells are cracked all the way around. I use the side pad of my thumb to push the shells off under slightly running lukewarm water. I have never had an issue and do eggs this way all the time. This cooker and puncturing the eggs on top before steaming them is the best thing that has happened. BUY IT!

Great - NO washing needed if you're only making boiled eggs, not poached eggs or omlets, as instructed in the booklet, simply wipe the metal part of the water pan/base with a paper towel moistened with vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar and a few drops of water) and it cleans it like new again in a few seconds of effortless wipes! I wanted to eat more egg whites for protein without fat/cholesterol but have gotten lazy about washing the frying pan or boiling eggs in a pot (long wait time, eggs cracking, clean up). SO GLAD I bought this for $15 after reading the many positive reviews and not pay for the other brands that cost $20 and higher. The egg cooker is wonderfully compact - it's barely the size of a small cantaloupe, fits on the palm of my hand (measures about 6.5"x6.5" if you count the small side handles and top of the lid knob). The instructions are easy to follow and I made my first batch of medium boiled eggs yesterday - they came out perfect (see pic, yolk still glistening in the center, white is cooked but not rubbery/hard). Punching a tiny hole on the large end of the egg is easy with the pin on the bottom of the included measuring cup. It took 9 minutes to do 7 eggs medium and the best part is peeling off the shell, they came of clean, unlike boiling in the pot often resulting in a messy peel that wastes a lot of egg white being stuck to the shell. It's key that you take the eggs out right after the timer goes off and rinse them under cold water so that the heat doesn't continue to cook/over cook your eggs (if you don't do this, your intended soft eggs will likely become medium, or medium will become hard boiled). It's nice the timer/design is intended that you cook the eggs from the refrigerator. DO NOT cook eggs at room temperature, this will result in your eggs being more cooked than intended. Love it and we'll be using this at least 1-2x a week to make +dozen boiled egg to add cheap and healthy protein to our meals.

Highly recommend for anyone who eats a lot of eggs and likes them perfectly cooked. I was skeptical at first but after cooking a whole dozen this morning in this little cooker, I’m Impressed! My eggs came out just how I like them! the product was easy to use, easy clean up and quick! No more pots to wash and no more over cooking my eggs. Reason for 4 stars is because you have to unplug after each use or it stays on, kinda didn’t like that because I wanted to buy one for my niece and if she has to constantly plug in and out, that would be a worry for me if she were to get shocked. They need to fix that feature, other than that it’s a great product!

I love this little gadget! It makes making eggs a snap. No more babysitting eggs while they cook in a fry pan hoping they come out perfect. Just mix for scrambled or put whole eggs for boiled. I love it so much I e given as gifts to my parents, brother & sister-in-law. They all love it! Works exactly as it says.

If you’re looking for an egg cooker, look no more. I was hesitant to buy this one because it didn’t come in the color I wanted, but decided to try it anyway as the one I was replacing looked good, but had barely lasted a year. What a great decision! The cooking time isn’t as long, you can boil seven eggs at once, the eggs turn out better, the non-stick surface makes it easy to clean AND, if all that wasn’t enough, the eggs are so easy to peel! It even allows for more ways to cook your eggs. I absolutely love it and I’m sure you will too!

This egg cooker is sooo awesome! It's so fast and easy to use and saves me lots of time. No boiling water or guessing how long it will take for soft, medium or hard boiled eggs. It has an automatic timer so there's no guess work involved and my hard boiled eggs came out perfectly on the first try. Just follow the instructions and you will love it just like I do. It is also an omelet maker and steamer.

Alright, so long story short, I really do not know what possessed me to buy this gadget at 3am after a long night of drinking, but after many failed drunk buys, this one has been one of the best. I do remember doing an extensive amount of product review reads that settled me on this particular brand of egg cooker, that ultimately made me buy it I guess. So I'll address some of those bad reviews because most of the reviews were great but I was a little nervous about the bad ones. The Buzzer: if you are standing right on top of your egg cooker, yes it can be a little loud, but if you are more than 10 feet away, it is a just like any other microwave or over alarm. It does go a little longer than those other alarms but it's really not as bad as some of these reviews say it is. Plus I kind of knew when the eggs were going to be done because I read the instructions so I just looked at the clock and went from there, it really is not that bad. Cleaning: Within the first time of using it, yes there were brown rings at the bottom of my pan. The instructions also say that just a little white vinegar and water will wipe them away which it did even after several usages without cleaning. All of the other parts are very easy to clean as well, be careful while cleaner the egg cracker because it is realllllllyyyy sharp. I also clean all the parts I use every time just because I'm a clean freak but it takes less than a minute for all the parts, besides the pan which is usually once a week which can take up to 3 minutes. Proper Usage: A lot of photos on the reviews showed broken eggs or egg coming out of the hole, the instructions say to puncture the large part of the egg, because there is a fat/air bubble so the rest of the shell doesn't crack while cooking. I've noticed with non-organic eggs its really easy to tell which side is the bigger side, but with organic eggs it can be a little difficult. I did have one or two eggs have some coming out the top, but it wasn't anything major, I usually cook my eggs hard boiled so those eggs came out a little less desirable than normal but still hard boiled. For amount of eggs, non-organic you can fit 7 easily because they tend to be smaller, organic on the other hand I have only been able to fix 6, meaning not having one in the middle hole. Overall: Again, I decided to buy this automatic egg cooker while pretty drunk, probably watching some cooking shows at terrible hours in the morning. My boyfriend laughed at me when I woke up the next morning and received the email that my amazon order was being processed. I've only had it for 2 weeks but I have used it almost every other day with not many issues. I will post a separate review if anything changes. I also bought the warranty just incase but overall I am impressed and happy with my purchase. I have not used the pouched tray so I cannot comment on that, but the omelet tray was perfect for a morning bagel and easy to clean if you spray non-stick on it before you use it.

Un aparato que de tan sencillo, es increíble que no tuviera uno antes. Facilita demasiado la preparación de huevos cocidos/duros. Y tiene el plus de poder preparar omeletes sin grasa ni aceite, solo al vapor, lo cual además de hacerlo más sano, ayuda para tenerlo en un lugar de trabajo y poder preparar un almuerzo al momento sin tanta complicacion

GENIAL ! Usé la máxima medida de agua que son 12 minutos por evento. A mí los huevos duros no me quedaban, esta egg cooker sí me los deja bien, la cáscara se rompe con facilidad, yo le daría 5-10 minutos más en su propio vapor para que me queden bien duros. Muy buena alternativa para cocer a vapor las verduras que comeré por plato. Al final de su tiempo sí suena su alarma no molesta ni es estruendosa. Para lavarla uso fibra cero ralladuras y seco con microfibra para cuidar. Sí me gustó mucho, la seguiré usando.

O manual ELITE GOURMET EASY EGG COOKER, veio em perfeito estado, embalado adequadamente e me foi entregue dentro do prazo previsto, porém com o manual em inglês, o que pode trazer consequências desastrosas para quem não domina o idioma. O uso do aparelho requer uma série de cuidados que, caso não adotados corretamente, podem causar risco elevado de dano ao aparelho, como também ao operador e a pessoas desavisadas. CUIDADO.

En mi experiencia, anteriormente cocía los huevos de manera tradicional en una olla con agua y calculaba el tiempo para que hirvieran. Esto me llevaba más tiempo, de lo que hora hace esta linda maquinita. Sé que muchos pensarán que es un desperdicio de dinero, pero créanme que no lo es. Los huevos se cocinan en menos tiempo. El gasto de agua ahora es mínimo. También, puedes cocinar omelette y huevos estrellados al vapor, sin necesitad de rebosarlos en aceite. Me gusta porque cuido mi salud, es muy fácil de usar, gasto menos agua, aceite y tiempo. Le doy 10/10.
