Elite Core EC-HEX10 Standard 10-Feet 1/4-Inch TRS R/A to Female Headphone Extension

I purchased this headphone extender for my home studio/practice rig. I play bass guitar and was looking for a way to practice at night or in the morning when others are asleep. Upon arrival, it seemed that the build quality was great. I was pleased with the thickness of the cord and how robust the connection seemed. I exclusively use custom in-ear monitors from Alclair audio, which have a 1/8 inch male connector. The connection between the headphones and the extender appeared to be a great fit, but I noticed that the output was not consistent, with only one channel working at a time. As time went on, it became more common that I would only be able to hear one channel. Last night, I tried my best to manipulate the cord to get it to play in stereo without success. While using the cable, I did everything I could to avoid stressing the connection between the headphones and the extender, but in the end, it didn't matter. No matter how much care I gave the cord, it still wanted to play on one channel and not in Stereo. So it is back to the drawing board for me, and until I find a replacement cord, it's back to playing through an amp for me!

First one, only one channel works. We'll see about the replacement, not a good start.

Ordered 3 and within a week 2 stopped working correctly. I guess I'll have to resolder them myself
