Excellent Guide for Remote Working
This is an excellent guide for those of us who can work remotely, who want to travel while working, or who want to roam during an extended vacation, walkabout, sabbatical, or retirement. Lots of very detailed advice on how to obtain local cell phone service and internet service while traveling and working, while sometimes off the beaten path.

Very detailed trip!
It is now a little outdated but still a great reference after 8?years. Thank you for this valuable guide.

Great Book/Bad Binding
Really enjoying the book and would give a 5 star, but our copy was poorly bound and have multiple pages that are just falling out of the book.

Sublime For Your Journey
It's not just full of pertinent, essential information; it's written in a style that is anything but dull and dry. The authors engage the reader, demonstrating their excitement and pleasure with the material, while informing and entertaining as well.Engrossing, and chock-full of the data a modern traveler will need. There are plenty of hyperlinks that allow the reader to dig deeper into the topics offered in every section, plumbing more resources easily and quickly. At once both whimsical and informative, this book deserves the highest forms of praise.I can't say enough nice things about it. Recommended for anyone; those who might be interested in traveling, and those just interested in the notion of it.

Great book with lots of good practical detail
Great book with lots of good practical detail. It is not a guide book, and it doesn't attempt to be, but it could almost be used as one. The Kindle version is a little difficult since there are frequent hyperlinks and the Kindle has difficulty with them. I finally ended up going to my iPad. Lots of great information and helpful tips. The authors work remotely 2 days a week throughout the trip, so it is a bit heavy on WiFi info that I was not interested on, otherwise I highly recommend it.

Quick Read
It was a very informative book. I did enjoy reading about their experience driving through Central America; however, some of the topics they spent a great deal of time discussing, such as finding an internet connection and phone use, had me flipping the pages to find something more interesting. If you are planning on taking a trip down south, I would add this book to your list for researching prior to your departure, but I wouldn't recommend it be the only one.

Great read with great info on the Pan American Highway ...
Great read with great info on the Pan American Highway through Central America. This book was a big help when preparing for the trip. Some of the boarder crossing info is out of date but is still really helpful to know each step of the process. Also walks you through trip prep fairly well. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to venture down the Pan American Highway by car.

Some information is outdated
This was written in 2011 so much of the info is outdated, so better to rely on more recent sources. Good generic information however, and worth the Kindle price.
