Review: Motivates kids to read! - My struggling reader has loved partner reading aloud because of these Binder of Doom books! They’re funny, the illustrations are perfect and age appropriate, and the characters in these books are hilarious! I’ve noticed much improvement in reading, reading comprehension, and honestly, ENJOYING reading! I’ve just ordered Binder of Doom book #3; can’t wait! Review: Awesome - I think this series is great, but I think The Notebook of Doom was better. I am a 4th grader so I read the book really fast. If u read this bookI can almost guarantee that u will luv it. Hope u liked my review

Funny, Interesting book about a group of friends that hunt monsters
7 year old boy really likes these books. We have them all so far and really enjoy them. They are the perfect five minute chapters so you can get a read in before bed.

Just as good as the Notebook series
This has been much anticipated by my 8 year old son. He loved the Notebook series and was so excited when this series came out. Similar to the other series but can definitely hold its own. Very well written and illustrated.

Our kids LOVE Notebook of Doom/Binder of Doom book series
We read a different Scholastic books series first and needed another good "first chapter" series with lots of pictures to keep their attention. We first read the Notebook of Doom series and then Binder of Doom (like an additional book series to Notebook of Doom). They LOVE the characters and guessing who is the baddie and/or what could happen next. Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Again, LOVED by all of our kids and we have different ages and grasp of the world. It has gone so far, that our boys have us print out the monsters, trace them and then colour them in!
