When I got my bike I had been eyeing hard bags for a while but finally decided they just weren't worth nearly $1000 or more, so I got these. I think I made the right choice. One of the reasons I got rid of my last bike was I wasn't riding enough, and one big reason for that was anytime I had to go to town (45+ miles away) I had to pick up groceries. These bags are not only quite sturdy, the hold a lot! I'm a pretty cheap shopper, and I can get $70+ worth of food in them easy, and I haven't even used the extra space you can get by unzipping the fold. The zippers are big and sturdy. They also collapse pretty flat when empty so they aren't always hanging out. The covers are cheap, but they stay on well when empty or full and do a decent job of keeping the bags clean.I had to get creative when figuring out how to attach them to my Tiger 800, but they're on there. I used these with my 2021 honda CB500X which has no racks. I also added a tie to stop then moving forward. I rode through a lot of rain and some water got in. I think it was because of how the covers fit around the bags with them being strapped.

The media could not be loaded.  //Update: I was able to repair the zipper by reseating it. There was a kink in the fabric. I still need to use a finger to create space to get it to work. So I have updated from 2 stars to 3. The main issue is the price point and fear the zippers won't last. I am going to keep this set as it does everything is supposed to. I do recommend it if you have an muffler like mine that is high as this model does hold its position better than models over tried when fully loaded //Zipper to one of the bags expandable part is stuck right out of the box. I decided to test the bag anyway before returning.To be fair these bags fit and stay in position very well. The material feels tough enough to last a while. It's still very hard to justify paying double the competition prices and have problems with the product as soon as you open it.

I really love my bags. The bag is really sturdy. This bag has a really nice design that hides the stripes that connects to the bike when it is not needed. The storage capacity is great and the outside is waterproof. I had been in the rain and the inside remained completely dry. The zipper is great and doesn't get stuck at all, super smooth. Very impressed with this bag, definitely recommend.

First of all they picture shiws teo bags but for that price you will get one.

They were larger than shown and will hold a lot of stuff, as they are expandable. I would recommend you use a bracket to keep them off the motorcycle muffler.
