Perfect scale for pour overs. Most scales, even purpose made scales, run on batteries and thus have auto-off timers. As my coffee station, as do most, has a plug near by using batteries seemed rather wasteful. This scale has all around improved the brewing experience.The build is about what you would expect for a $25 semi-commercial product. The buttons have a nice chunky press, plastics are somewhat flimsy, and the scale top is easily removable for washing.My only complaint is that the power cable has an always on red light.
