Okay! Whatever your age, we All Have a guilty ‘go to.’ This is mine. I have tried to dismiss it, tried to ignore it, then the cast and Ferrari, suck you in until you meet the hotel owner! Then you are completely sucked in. I have been in therapy to try to rid me of this problem, but everybody luved it! lol Anyhoo! Enjoy! Xx

Good Quality packing could have been much better

Comprato come regalo per mia mamma, che ama questo film. Per quanto non sia il mio genere, è impossibile non riconoscere che Pretty Woman sia un classico intramontabile della cinematografia internazionale. La storia è forse un po’ scontata — l’uomo ricco che si innamora della ragazza povera ma intelligente e spigliata, che in questo caso fa la prostituta — ma funziona ancora oggi grazie alla leggerezza, al ritmo e alla chimica dei protagonisti. È un film che si guarda con piacere, senza pretese, e che riesce sempre a strappare un sorriso. Probabilmente è proprio questo il suo merito più grande.

„Pretty Woman“ gehört zu den Filmen, die man einfach immer wieder anschauen kann. Julia Roberts in ihrer Paraderolle als charmante, lebensfrohe Vivian und Richard Gere als eleganter Geschäftsmann sind ein Duo, das den Film unvergesslich macht. Die Blu-ray bietet eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber den alten DVD-Ausgaben. Farben wirken klarer, Hauttöne natürlicher, und besonders die Straßenszenen bei Nacht sind detailreicher und stimmungsvoller. Auch wenn der Ton keine moderne Surround-Dynamik bietet, passt er sehr gut zum Genre – Dialoge sind verständlich, die Musik von Roy Orbison oder Roxette klingt sauber und nostalgisch. Inhaltlich überzeugt der Film mit Charme, Witz und einer klassischen „Aschenputtel“-Story, die nicht kitschig wirkt, sondern bis heute ihren Zauber entfaltet. Für alle, die den Film lieben, ist diese Blu-ray die definitive Version. Sie macht Spaß im Heimkino, eignet sich perfekt für einen gemütlichen Filmabend und ist ein Muss in jeder Sammlung romantischer Klassiker.
