The Rainbow Fish

I bought this book for a baby shower as it was one of my kids favorite books. It is absolutely the cutest book, and will be a great addition to anyone's library. Quality book, great pictures and story. Value for the book and story is hard to beat!

The Rainbow Fish was my absolute favorite book when I was little, so I had to get it for my kids too. The sparkly scales are still just as magical as I remembered and honestly make the whole book feel special. The story is sweet, the illustrations are beautiful, and it’s one of those classic children’s books that actually sticks with you growing up. Reading it now feels really nostalgic for me, and my kids love looking at all the shiny pages. Such a cute book to have in your collection.

Very cute book, just the way I remember it, with thick pages for easy grabbing. The colors are vibrant and the shiny scales are shimmery! Package arrived on time and just as described.

Came damaged and badly bent probably due to packaging but still usable. The book is great and fantastic nostalgic moments with our 1 year old.

Great book for my baby

My toddler is obsessed with all things fish, so when she picked out The Rainbow Fish from Amazon search. The illustrations are gorgeous, and my daughter is mesmerized by the sparkly, foil-like scales on the fish. She keeps pointing at them every time we read it, and it’s become a bedtime favorite just for the shiny colors! One thing I found a little odd is the story: the Rainbow Fish gives away all her beautiful scales to make friends. It’s a sweet message about sharing, but as a parent I admit it made me scratch my head a bit (I wasn’t sure if my toddler really gets why the fish parts with all her sparkles). Still, it’s a friendly tale and we enjoy reading it together.
