MAGID Hi-Vis Impact-Resistant Safety Glasses, 1 Pair, Y770

I was offered a free pair of the clear lens model for review, yet declined as I liked the yellow lens much better....So I just bought a pair :)I have LOTS of safety glasses, because I engage in alot of work that is hazardous to my eyes....Yes, the 1st time I got a wood splinter in my eye when clearing trees & brush with a chainsaw.....Was the last time!Because I have never worked without safety glasses again... the risk is just not worth the reward.OKI wore these the other day when clearing weeds out some woods with a gas powered weed cutter.....& they worked out great!They are lightweight.... comfortable, & they fit very well, as, with the ratcheting system you can get a perfect fit! Visibility is excellent.... I was working on an overcast, kind of dark day & the yellow lenses really brightened things up nicely.IMO these are very good safety glasses for moderately risky business.... such as weed cutting n such....but they are on the lightweight side of things for extreme stuff... like chainsaw work -I have been hit in the eye with pieces of flying wood so hard that while my glasses did not break & saved my eye... the area aound my eye got bruised n blackened from the impact.... & I believe the frames of these would likely have been broken under a simular situaton. So....These are excellent when used within their limitations....but they are not for extreme working conditions IMOI also like the look of these glasses, IMO they are kind of cool..... which is why I purchased a pair :)As I see it these glasses are highly recommendable....5 StarsBTW..... this is my 600th product review!Woo Hooo!Somebody light off some fireworks or something already :)

Good fit. Good coverage even on the sides. The yellow lenses just makes everything clearer and easier to do l see. With better vision, I feel like I'm doing a better job.

These have been well-fitting, adjustable, and provide excellent eye coverage, so I reordered gifted one to a coworker. I get frequent compliments and people asking where I purchased them. One out of the 4 I have purchased, however, arrived with a flaw that renders them unwearable (I just discovered it today; they come individually wrapped. Hoping the company responds about it. Will update here on the outcome.

Very inexpensive

Comfort is lacking. Anti fog is not the greatest.

I love these glasses. They’re pretty cool cause they don’t fog up like my old pairs did.

I bought a pair of Magid goggles 2-3 years ago (I don't use them as goggles, they are that good at blocking the wind) and they have been the best "functional" pair of sunglasses that I have ever purchased. They were the Magid Gemstone Onyx (Y85BRAFGY). I thought that these were very similar (TPR), just a different color. THESE WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THAT. The lens even had gaps between them and the frame. No way that they could keep the wind out of my dry eyes. The TPR is not the same. These are rubber-like, but the previous pair are a cushion that is NOT foam and they are very comfortable. Very disappointed in this purchase, because the pics made it appear that they were similar to what I had previously. I returned these. It was a total waste of my time waiting for them to arrive 2 days later than initially projected.

They seemed initially kind of flimsy but I've been using them now almost daily, as a professional horticulturist, for six months and have yet to have them break or get heavily scratched. I was so satisfied with them that I bought a second pair to have when I eventually misplace them. I love how well they adjust to my face and keep dust and debris out.
