Love it
This is a gorgeous doll house. It is NOT easy to place all the stickers on just right. Please order extra stickers from Mattel service dept. You WILL need them. I went through 2 sheets before I gave up and accepted that I am not perfect. I am buying an extra sheet so the next owner (if I ever sell it) can have the option to peel mine off. I love this house. Very pretty. It was a royal pain to put together. You certainly should not try with kids running around. With 2 very quiet hours (sticker applying mostly ) and watching the video TEN times then one more time, step by step I got it done. You can see the instructions on the Mattel website. You can then enlarge them for easy viewing. You need a magnifier to see these ridiculous picture and arrow instructions. Once you touch the stickers to the plastic, they cling like crazy glue and tear if you try to peel them off (ahhhh). Having said all of this, iI am 61 with poor vision. If I can do it you can do it. Thanks to Mattel for the youtube video. But why didn't you spend the money on better instructions? And yes they left out some crucial steps, so PLEASE look at the instructions and do put all the stickers on before you assemble. It will be harder to reach inside after. Lay out all the pieces and match up all the pillars first. Don't push down too hard, just enough to hear the click. The most important thing is to get the elevator string threaded through the pillar opposite the doorbell one - under the little tab guides, ( first floor ) correctly BEFORE you snap in the cover. How do I know this? Because I messed up the first try and I am convinced that it was only through divine intervention that I was able to get that cover off without breaking it to do it over. ***** Important **** If you are a serious collector I would not order it online. The box arrived very dirty, all beat up, and crushed on some corners. It looked like it had been dragged. My sticker sheet had holes in it and one chair was broken, but Mattel has great customer service and mailed me a free new sticker sheet and a complete furniture bag so I got an extra table and chair! If you want a pristine box then make sure the seller you buy from takes this into consideration and protects the box. MINE ARRIVED BY UPS ON A VERY RAINY DAY, IN A SEALED GREY PLASTIC BAG. No padding or foam inside or out. All the pieces appeared to simply be thrown into the box. The end flaps were simply taped and not sealed round, so there were gaps for small stuff to fall out. Thankfully only one chair arrived missing it's legs. The next dollhouse I buy will be at a physical store (such as Toysrus) and I will carry it to my home myself. --- I cleaned up the box, with wipes, broke it down and cut off the dirty end flaps to save it in my closet - wrapped in a large garbage bag . I loved the large colorful graphics on the front cover especially. The rest of the box was rendered worthless.

Happy with this Dreamy Dream house!
My daughter loves this Barbie dream house! This was a Christmas gift for her, so we have had it about 4 weeks. I wasn't sure I wanted this huge plastic thing in my house, but my daughter LOVES Barbie and I knew she would play with it constantly. And she does! Even my older daughter who doesn't play with Barbies, is drawn to the many features of this house. Everything was expected based on the description. My husband put it together in a few short hours (maybe 2 or so). He is very mechanically inclined, so he had no difficulty with it at all. He used the directions that came with this house and felt they were very clear. The Dream House is large, and shaped awkwardly, so you will need a nice big corner to put it in.We almost went with one of the KidKraft houses because they are not plastic, but on closer inspection, the actual space inside the house is very small (ie not a lot of room for stuff). On the plus side, the Dream House has a lot of little teeny tiny pieces included with the it (plates, cups, forks, etc.), which is actually one of the main reasons we went with this house because my daughter loves that kind of stuff. On the educational/life skills side of things, this house is so special to my 7 year old, that she takes time and pride in keeping it tidy, which has transferred to keeping her own room a little more neat and tidy!Amazon delivered this in a timely manner and since I designated it as a "gift" they wrapped the box in white plastic, so it wouldn't be a dead give away if it was on our porch and my kids saw it. Also, you just can't beat the price. I bought this for $30-$70 less than any where else that was selling it at Christmas time and as an Amazon prime member my shipping was FREE!!!

A Very Happy Three Year Old Toddler now turning into a tween
Toddler requested the Barbie Dream House 5 months before Christmas. The Barbie Dream House 2014 was up to $600.00 depending on the store and the seller. I nearly passed out; however, you look for deals and steals. As we were relaxing for the evening, I had my iPad up while scrolling for toys our little one requested. She was three years old at that time. I fell asleep with the Amazon site up, turned over at 2:00 am, the Barbie Dream House was $99.00 with tax $103.00. Purchasing was a no brainer. We received this big box 3-4 days later. We read the reviews about assembly. Yes, we were spoofed; we had to cross another hurdle; therefore, that box sat unopened until early (2:00 AM) Christmas morning. We decided to check YouTube and found several assembly instructions. We had the Barbie Dream House assembled in less than 1 hour. We hid her Barbie Dream House in her closet and said nothing. She was looking for her shoes she was in shock, she came in our room with a three-year-old shock look. She played for hours, and she removed herself for a snack break and Christmas dinner. To the seller, thank you. Fast forward 2020, the Barbie Dream House is still intack, she is preparing for her 10th birthday, can you believe it. Love you Amazon. I enjoy scrolling back to see the stuff we purchased for our little one.
