Texts for Preaching: A Lectionary Commentary, Based on the NRSV, Vol. 1: Year A

I like this series. It offers overview of the lectionary texts of each week and gives some commentary, though not extensive. Often I've gotten a thought that I didn't see before when reviewing the texts.

As a local preacher in training I find this series for years A, B and C an absolute must as a starting point for service preparations, but it doesn't have huge detail so extra resources are needed

Great book, and a real help for my course. would highly recomend
