Hearts of Stone (Paranormal Protection Agency Book 1) Kindle Edition

The book was a nice read at first then BAM! The book is over with a very non-climatic ending. The book only spans about a week in the lives of the characters. There was so much build up in the beginning but not enough to really get a feel for the characters or what was happening and contained scenes that really didn't make sense with the story as a whole. The author grazed over some very important parts of the book I wish would have been expanded, such as the para's coming out, Cal and Gran's history and how they are adapting to being "out", who the nemesis or bad guy really is. I do not usually do love at first sight so them knowing each other for only a week and they are all madly in love with each other is a tough one for me. There is so much sexual tension that builds up, then is doused, then builds up then is doused. It is frustrating. And then when they finally get down to it, it is sooooooo long. I love a steamy sex scene as much as the next person, but it carried on for way too long to where there can only be so many orgasms before I lose interest. Now, if they were spread throughout the book it would be one thing but having 10 pages dedicated to one scene was tiresome. I think the author had a good idea with the plot and the characters, the execution was just too short.

In the first version it was written in first person which I dislike and short on details. This had more action and was hotter. Especially since you got Cal and Grans point of view. Fun and hot. The best combo in an MFM paranormal story IMHO.

Mina Carter does it again- another wonderful heartwarming sexy paranormal story with lots of hot action and fabulous characters that really appeal to the reader. And I adore gargoyles! So this romance with sexy gargoyle brothers really hit the spot.

Iliona loves to have coffee with her attorney girlfriend. She especially liked to watch the male member of the staff. Ilionaownes and operated a security and detective agency that has paranormal staff members. Iliona calls for one of the gargoyles not knowing he has a identical twins brother. Things get confusing when both brothers snow up together. Plenty of action with all kinds of humans and paranormals. Adult readers due to the sexual (three together) and violence.

They have shared women in the past. I did not need or want to here that. Plus, I thought they had just been released from stone. I must have been wrong.

Holy shiznet !!! This story is gr8. What can I say, I love gargoyles. This story has it all. A gr8 female lead who is running a paranormal protection company, 2 hot gargoyles, a murder mystery, some crazy paranormal attacks, and let's not forget hot, sweaty, sex. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

I really enjoyed this book. It was a surprise who needed the protection. The characters are wonderful and the story is well written and the bad guy is a surprise. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a PRN with lots of heat and suspense.

Well written, enjoyed the story line a woman owning the agency and meeting up with her hunky gargoyles. Lots of different paranormal characters definitely keeps your attention.

This is a great read was not expecting to like it as much with it being gargoyles but there was plenty of action and plenty of chemistry but not too much that it was overbearing. Would recommend to read.

Amazing MFM romance book. With characters some grit and depth to them. With a good plot to go with. The only thing I think it missed was a proper ending to round things up.

Totally love this series! If you love paranormal romance, then this is a great series, well written, good plot and great secondary characters - totally recommend!

Mina Carter does paranormal romantic stories, in a way that involves the reader in another world. Good storyline and very interesting characters
