I had IBS all my life and wanted to get like a frock or something to deal with it, but also wanted to have friends and partners so I wore normal clothes. Now that I'm old enough to give up on both and still subsist, I looked for something like this and with my friend's recommendation looked for thobes. I'm not an Arab person (East Asian) and my friend told me it's not cultural appropriation so got one.I liked my first one so much I bought two in other colors. Friends of both sexes actually like them too, and this is most likely true as they can't stand my personality.Pros:1. I'm 5'9/10, 135 lbs, skinny-ish. Size small fits perfectly.2. comfy and big pockets3. great breathable fabric4. if you live in NYC/NJ area, I've done you a favor by starting the trend, being a harbinger of these comfy clothes. hop on without too much fear that people will look at you like you're crazy. I mean, some still will, but you're comfy and you don't have to stick around, as you glide through the streets or house or whatever5. colors thick enough to not show underwearCons:1. neck kinda cuts deep. side splits kinda high up. so I safety pinned them. I should sew the two that I got after the first one, but I'm lazy. I've sewn my first one, and it's great.2. I was blessed with average to less than average shoulders and this will fit ppl with wider shoulders, but doesn't affect the look. Not that I was going for a fashionable look, but it surprisingly works well.3. when sitting down on the subway and crossing your legs, make sure you're not flashing people your underwear. being a woman and wearing a dress/skirt must suck with constant worry about this, now I can sympathize better and I'm sure this insight will help my game4. tricky bathroom game tho

I bought this for my husband and he loves it The! The garment itself is comfortable, looks great, and only gets better every time it's washed. The color doesn't fade, it just gets richer. We do not put it in the dryer, instead we let it air dry layer flat on a drying rack.The most awesome part was the excellent customer service I received after ordering. The tailor contacted to confirm the size I ordered, as he saw my name was feminine and I ordered a fairly large garment. He wanted to make sure the order was correct and even asked for my husband's measurements so he could make it perfect. And it is indeed perfect!I could not be happier with this company and this purchase.

Comfortable, light fabric, but good quality. I'm 5'8", 42" chest, 32" waist. I normally wear a medium or a large depending on the brand and the large in this kaftan fits me well. At first, the sleeves were a bit long, I thought I might have to roll up the sleeves. Since washing it, the sleeves fit well. The hem hits me above my ankles. I enjoy using it as a night shirt and lounging around the home. Just be aware that if there's a light behind you, it's not 100% opaque.

Mine came 100% cotton. It is not bad but I was looking for linen.Update:I was contacted by the seller, and they told me that the wrong label was placed. That if I have it lab tested it will be linen + cotton and if not I would be compensated. I wont send it as I am truly happy with the robe.

Having read the warnings that the kaftan runs a little small, I got a large. This was a good, "tailored", fit for me (size 42 L jacket). It may be a little small for others, since I generally fall between a medium and large in men's t-shirts, and a large t-shirt generally is looser than this is.Length is good, coming well below the knee (I am 6' 1"), but not to the floor.The cotton/linen blend is really comfortable. A great choice for laying around on a summer afternoon. :-)

Very thin material. Washed it once and the whole hem came out and is now just rough fabric. Would not but again. Very disappointed

Although the garment looks great, mine was poorly made. The side slit ripped immediately.I contacted 7 Veils for a return label.... which I cannot access. And they threatened to re-charge me if I don't mail it by a certain date. A bit sneaky and unethical. I’m hoping they will contact me with a solution asap. Ironically, if I could get a larger size I’d order it again. I really love it. My only gripe is trying to avoid an unnecessary credit card charge.

This is the best linen clothes I've bought on-line. Not stiff as some others “linen" , this one is quite soft and it always keeps you in cool. What's more, I'm quite satisfied that no fade after washing. I love the color of grey blue a lot, sooooo cool, lucky that I changed the color to the seller.
