For full bikini (not just bikini line)
I am so happy I found this. I bought it exclusively for full bikini hair removal and used it for the first time tonight. I read that it hurts and I watched a couple reviews. I thought, they’re being babies. So i tried it on my underarm first. And OUCH - omg they’re not kidding! The trick, however, is to use it wet skin and hold down your skin! After the initial shock, it wasn’t so bad. So I graduated to my bikini area. I am glad this device has a light (never would’ve thought it was important but I couldn’t have done without). Honestly my bikini area hurt less than my armpit. Maybe it’s because I was used to it, kind of? I did the whole thing. As a little background to my pain threshold, I have had professional waxes done and it doesn’t “hurt” me as much as it “surprises” me, lol. I have also attempted home waxes but I’m just not good at them (so many hairs left behind I’m tweezing for hours). I LOVE this. Every hair has been removed! I’m so happy I made this purchase.

Philips Satinelle Advanced Hair Removal Epilator, works!!!!!
If you are used to plucking this wont be a huge issue, for face or waxing for body hair. If your not, go at it slow. Has two settings fast and slow, I use setting one the slower setting. And it's very easy to use, remember to go in the direction of hair growth Soon as I received it in the mail, I tried it out, after charging. I was nervous it were going to hurt. Didn't really even pull hard, a little tug nothing major. Idk if I'll give up waxing forever. I went hair removing crazy though lolBut if your on the go or just can't make it to a salon. This little machine will do the trick! Oh , there will be redness and some tenderness. Just use a cool compress It'll make it feel better. The tenderness and redness subside though. No make up, or exfoliating of course. You can wash your face in water if need be. Otherwise no complaints here. This epilator is amazing! Best purchase I've made in awhile.

It is a great product, but the task is still horrible.
It's going to hurt so if that's your problem with the device you probably shouldn't buy an epilator. This device works very well and I am happy with the purchase. The attachments are useless in my opinion, but the detachable head is great for cleaning. After you start forcing yourself to use it, you will notice that you have to use it a lot less often (screaming while you use it does help with the pain). Do good prep and aftercare and you'll be very happy with the results.

Didn't work on my hair.
I know an epilator is basically a set of electric tweezers, and plucking hairs out is going to hurt no matter how you slice it. My problem is that this device would grab hairs, tug on them, but wouldn't really remove them. I've gone over similar parts of my limbs over and over with no noticable difference in hariness. Holding it constantly over the same part, I can feel it repeatedly grabbing and tugging the same hairs without actually removing them. But, saying it's ineffective doesn't really do it justice. I was so baffled by how poorly this device worked, that I actually grabbed a set of tweezers and found I could one by one tweeze my hairs out faster than this device could. That combined with the horrible rash it left me with for no real hair removal caused me to send this thing back.

I'm glad I purchased it. I'm happy
If you already epilate then you will really like this one. I made this purchase and got what's in the picture an description on Amazon. It showed up on time. I'm happy! I had an other epilator and lost it on a crews. I purchased this one out of necessity, with the hope that I would like it. I ♡love it♡ the light is great. The tweezing disks are like smooth plastic feel and doesn't irritate sensitive skin. It pulls out hair the first time so I don't have to go over and over the same spot. I almost don't feel it at all. (better then my old one) Epilated hairs don't get trapped inside the rotating head or gear, like in my old epilator. I didn't have to clean the rotating head until I was done. I'm glad that I lost my old epilator because this one is soooooo much better and takes up less of my time. If you don't epilate - it might hurt at first but you get used to it the more often you epilate the less sensitive it is until you don't feel it at all. It saves $money$, time, and your legs are always ready to wear shorts or skirts. I'm happy

A total disappointment
I purchased this epilator in November last year as my previous Philips epilator that I'd had for 9 years was getting rather sluggish, so I thought time to update. Unfortunately this new one is no where near as good as my older Philips, it hardly removes any hair at all, and I've been using an epilator for many years so its not thru lack of experience. I have now to resurrected my old Philips, give it a good clean and voila it's working. So very disappointed in this newer model.

A must have!!
This is the best epilator I’ve ever used. I used to use Philip’s cheaper model but this surpasses that - I love that it doesn’t have to be plugged in while using and the ceramic tweezers seems to be less painful than the cheaper version.A lot of reviews on here are that it hurts... of course if hurts (at first)! You’re plucking multiple hairs at once. It’s similar to waxing though. If you maintain it, less hairs grow and they are thinner and less painful to epilate. I used to have to shave every night/every other - now I epilate about once per month/every two months. The hair growth in between is thin and barely noticeable. I use it on my legs and underarms. OBSESSED.Worth the first-time-use pain!I have also found that holding the skin taut helps, as well as going back and forth. I know that it’s advised to go one direction, but I found it helpful to go back and forth. And focus on going about an inch or two at a time.

I know epilators and this one is great!
Been using epilators since the 90’s. My kids call it the torture device. Lol. I swear by them for my underarms and privates. Like every stitch of my privates. Better than paying $80 every couple months To have someone else wax it.This epi is solid and painless . Tried it in the water, which I've never done, and not a fan but it worked regardless. Hair seems to stay away for over a month. Have Had a ton of these in the past 30 years and this one is one of my favorites so far. I searched forever snd a day for one that wasn’t priced too high. Ive had great luck in the past with even some Asain brands for like $20, but now cant find the company who made them. So had to go searching again — im glad i got this one. Try it.

Awesome, Effective, Easy To Use!
I highly recommend this epilator! I have a ton of thicker peach fuzz on my face and arms and average body hair everywhere else mixed with the pesky peach fuzz. This epilator works great on dry skin and was pretty comfortable on my facial and arm peach fuzz the first time I used it. I tried using it in the shower several times and found it was more comfortable but the water sort of slicks the hair down so it gets fewer hairs. This isn't the best on armpits though as those hairs are thicker and it takes several passes to get them out and will sometimes yank on them a few times before plucking them out. It does get them but takes more time and is a little tender. Not brave enough to use this on my bikini area!Overall I found the best way to use it was directly after a shower and to exfoliate in the shower before use. Then towel skin dry and epilate. This has become my new once a week routine and it is gradually getting rid of all those stubborn hairs. Also it gets waaay more comfortable if you use it regularily because there is less hair to grab so when I use it once a week it's fast and pretty painless but if I skip a few weeks and more of the hair grows back it gets much more uncomfortable and takes more passes. You're plucking hairs from your skin so of course it hurts similar to waxing but it is bearable. You can also take breaks or use a cold compress if needed. It should also be noted an epilator won't remove every single hair it sometimes misses some so it won't give the silky smooth effect of waxing or shaving BUT I think it's worth using longer term to stop those hairs from growing back.

Removed the shortest hairs real quick
Get product! I’ve switched over from an old Braun epilator I’ve had for over 5? years now. This one seems to pull the hair out quicker than the other one, and pain isn’t as bad to tell you the truth. Not sure why? The light on it is alright, not the best angle for it. Hope it lives just as long!

Requieres muchos tiempo
Si se puede usar en ducha pero en general no es tan fácil de usar, toma mucho tiempo pero da buenos resultados, la batería es recargable y si dura como 40 min. Si duele pero no lastima. Seguiré usándola, no estoy muy satisfecha.
