I bought for the value was under 2 bucks
So I stumbled upon these randomly and in white they were under 2 bucks each. At the local stores even the cheapest outlets of the poorest quality cost more. They aren't super special high quality or anything in my opinion, but definitely better than anything else at this price. So they do have the blue WR logo on them for being weather resistant so probably wouldn't want to use them around the inside of your house. Also for outdoors you need GFCI protection to meet modern codes so you would really only have a use for these if you had multiple outlets on on circuit outside to use with this. I have an entertainment closet where you can't see the outlets and that is where I used these. For any more than I paid however like I said, they are nothing special and you would only really use them in a special situation like I described where you either don't see it, or are adding to an actual outdoor circuit that is already GFCI protected.Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer.

No stupid childproof feature
As a gen X I cannot stand the stupid childproof receptacles, they make plugging in any item without a ground pin into a tirade of foul language. My local hardware stores only sell the dumb ones. These were a sanity saver

The "2-Pole" part is not easy to achieve
I wanted to use this outlet with a switch, so I had to remove the tab on the hot side. It was hard and frustrating compared to other outlets. The metal is very hard (stainless steel, I guess). A piece of the tab broke off first without disconnecting the contacts, creating sharp corners. I had to use different pliers. When I finally succeeded, the outlet was covered with tiny metal specs and scratches (fortunately, not on the front side). As others have noted, the "WR" is shown upside down in the standard orientation (ground below).Apart from that, the outlet is solidly made, easy to install, easy to use. But those little details make the difference between "excellent" and "OK".
