No spare spools for #5/6
I was disappointed to discover that spare spools for #5/6 are not just out of stock. The response from Maxcatchoutdoor was 'We are really sorry to tell you we won't sell the reel spool any more.'I feel this should have been pointed out at the time of purchasing the reel. If I had known I would have bought a different model/brand.I have challenged this saying that I think they are obliged to support the product, since when - nada.

Good reel for price. Drag is well controlled. Only problem I found is reel spins and retrieves loose line when making false casts

I'm no fly fishing expert but I've thrown a lot of money at gear the past year and gotta say this is a good quality, low cost (not 'cheap') reel. I'll certainly visit maxcatch products again.

Value for the money
Delivered promptly to a Amazon Locker. Quality quite good for the money. Comes with fly line and tappered leader fitted.

Great value for the money
I was looking for a cheap reel for a line I don’t use very often. This reel is so far from cheap in quality. It had a decent drag and is the quietest reel I have when I retrieve. If I need a new reel in the future I will definitely look at the maxcatch range.
