I didn't feel like this book was aligned to the class well. The book itself had good information though.

To be perfectly ethical, William Erchul was my professor of consultation at North Carolina State University when I was a doctoral student there. I use this book every time I teach consultation. I like especially the part where he develops the influencing skills.I also like the fact that he has firsthand experience in real schools in North Carolina. He knows I am an anti-behaviorist, but I forgive him for being so behavioral. The way he uses behaviorism in the book gives me the opporutnity to point out the limitations of the theory to my counselor education students.Marie Faubert

This book is about as good as it gets regarding the intricate details of school consultation. For the novice or the senior clinician, a worthwhile read.

Informative and clinically useful

Good guide for school psychologists. Beginning of book sets a foundation that is somewhat repetitive of overall special education practices. But, a good resource for those in the consulting role.

I purschased this book Scool Consultation. It appeared to be a new book, but after reading a few chapters, sentences were missing. I have never experienced anything like this, especially after paying $75. I am very dissatisfied with th publishing company because they failed to ensure that the book was ready for sale.
