Purchased June 7 2021 - Failing March 9 2024. The lens on the PIR sensor became brittle and cracked apart from Florida sun. The sensor is now making it come on randomly every couple of minutes from dusk to dawn. It is sensitive enough the neighborhood cats will set it off and we were used to that. This is different though it's coming on non-stop.We've been satisfied with its performance over the past 3 years that I'm purchasing another as a replacement. The amount of light this thing puts out is amazing. For the price if I have to replace it every 3 years it's just barely worth the hassle. If it was more expensive I'd probably go with a different brand that has a more rugged PIR sensor shell.I'm probably going to replace it with the new model that has the 5ft remote leads to the secondary lights. That sounds appealing for how I have mine mounted and can run the wires inside the soffit. I'm wondering if I can get some wire extenders to mount the secondary lights even farther away to cover the entire side of the house. If not I can always cut and splice longer wires of the same outdoor rated gauge to it.I'm including pictures of the 3 year old light and a picture from a security camera mounted just beneath the lights. Anything used to trigger the PIR sensor on the lights would also trigger the security camera but that is no longer the case with a malfunctioning PIR sensor.

I had this security light just a little more than 3 years now, and it's showing no signs of dimming down! It really picks up movements 75 feet away. I have mine setup to go on for a full minute for each movement detected and again, no signs of its brightness dimming down.Highly recommended!

It does what we want it to do. Installed this for my mom at her place, replacing a really old motion light. The coverage of this light is impressive. It pretty much covers her entire car port, which is fantastic. Plus with it being dusk til dawn, it keeps a constant light on at night, which the previous one was only a motion sensor that lasted for 1 minute. Simple installation. I did re-use two screws from the old mounting hardware, because the ones that came with it were too small. But that's my personal case, probably won't be your issue. Her place was built in the mid 70's, so take it for what that is. As I mentioned with the other Amazon light I installed and reviewed, I won't give it 5 stars, just 4. Because who knows about the longevity of the light? I can't praise something that I don't know, if it'll break in a month or year... entirely. But after two short weeks, it's awfully impressive so far. Love the 3 directional light capabilities. So much flexibility. I did get the extra insurance coverage, after reading some of the other reviews that said it failed within 2 years. I'd suggest doing that too, if you don't feel it'll last a long time. But the 4,000 lumens, is phenomenal.

After researching quite a bit on Amazon I decided on this product, thinking most of these LED lights are made in China anyways and many of them are very well reviewed. My only concern is how well it'll perform installing under eaves/soffit, since that's how mine will be installed.It turned out the installation was easy. I had to go to Lowes to purchase a 4" diameter round electrical box to replace my existing rectangular one. Mount the round electrical box, re-connect the Line-Neutral-Ground wires and I was ready to go. The LED light does have to be mounted upside down (opposite form the picture shown in the Amazon product photo), with the sensor at the top and the LEDs at bottom, but that doesn't affect the performance or the sensor detection sensitivity.Overall it performed very well mounted under a soffit, I would recommend it and buy again.

I ordered this light to replace an old security light over my garage door. It was easy enough to install, though I could have used a third hand. Holding the light and the wires and screwing on the connectors was a bit tricky. The instructions tell you to hire a professional but it really isn't that hard if you have a screwdriver and know how to turn off the breaker.My garage is off an alley. There's an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) just opposite. I was worried that the light would bother the person living in the ADU. After a couple of nights I did indeed hear from that person.They sent a text thanking me for installing the light, saying that they felt much safer coming home from work after dark with the light brightening up the alley.I hadn't actually checked the light in the dark so I went out to see how much it illuminated and, wow. It lights up a nice, wide, long swath of alley.

Installed as easily as any other 120v wall light. Issue comes when you turn it on to motion sense. Any setting and the light comes on every 10 or 15 minutes. Nothing is triggering its motion. No animals, no wind, no treebranches, bugs, rain. Anything. Its literally replacing another motion sense flood light in the exact same spot, but this one is clearly faulty right out of the box. It installs quick and easily, if you want a light that stays on 24/7 than fine but motion sense, forget it. Must be cheaply made.Again, this is replacing a motion sense light that had been in place for years just fine. The environment has not changed one bit. I would send the junk back but I already threw away the box assuming other reviews were legit. My mistake

This is the 4th light I bought from this company. I bought the first 3 2 years ago. When one stopped working I bought another. This one did not work. I contacted the company. They immediately sent me 2 replacements no questions asked. They both work and are really easy to install. I wish more companies were as responsive as this one.

This thing is bright and awesome! If you need a good motion detecting light, consider getting I've of these. I have the sensor aimed to pick up motion passed my driveway and out into the street. It works flawless.
