Paul Quick Release Bicycle Skewer (Black w/Orange - 100mm)

These are beautiful, high quality 'boutique quality' skewers. Internal cam QR skewers are superior to exterior and the design of these skewers in particular make for skewers that are easy to operate, easy to dial in the right amount of clamping force and they retain their tightness (e.g. They do not loosen over time. They're made of high quality materials, yet they are not particularly heavy and they look outstanding. They are expensive - perhaps even a little over-priced. But, as with all thing related to higher-end cycling - you certainly get what you pay for. The things that hold your wheels to your bike is NOT the area where you want to 'cheap-out' ;-) I'm glad I bought them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a boutique quality, superior functioning set of skewers that also happen to add a touch of classy, visual bling to any bike!
