I bought a hard-wired kit for my dashcam. However, it does not have a connection to USB-C. I use this to connect the hardwired kit to my dash cam.

Needed for my mirror dash cam
My mirror dash cam came with a usb c connection instead of a usb mini. The wiring kit to permanently attached my mirror cam only had usb mini. This worked well

Mal connection
It only works well for a few weeks and it loses strength in its connections it doesn't work anymore it only lasted 3 months

It's OK for transferring
The item is good and works fine. But it's not good for charging things.You get a charge for a very short time then stop an then charge again an then stop charging

Good basic cable
Hard to find USB C to USB Mini. But this worked well

It is what it is
It does what is supposed to. In my case, I already had a long cable for an older dash cam fished through the interior panels up to my rearview mirror, so when I upgraded to a different one, instead of repeating the process, I used this adapter. It cost a bit more than getting it from eBay, but it got here quickly.
