Basic Stone Carving Set Set of 6 Stone Tools

These are well made, I'm a little iffy on the hammer, but, so far so good. Very happy. Also, do not buy the combo of 'customers also bought' with the rasps and fine chisels. The rasps are not good quality and are meant for woodworking, and the fine chisels are absolute poo poo! They are carbon steel sticks that have been slightly shaped on a belt sander and have a decorative string glued on them. The box is sorta neat but still not so great. Just buy this if you're starting out with stone carving.

Perfect assortment of stone chisels. It comes with 5 varieties of chisels and a hefty hammer. Nicely packaged in a sturdy canvas roll up. These are now the only chisels I use.

I bought these and have used them steadily since. amazed they hold the edge well and have not dulled at all. just wish hammer hear was set better. but made a new handle and reset head myself so it was not to much of a problem. other then that I believe this is a great beginner set for carvers

I’m a beginner at stone carving but these tools made it a bit easier. Ilike that they have a case so they don’t get lost. I would definitely recommend them.

The chisels were fine but the hammer was very wobbly, I would expect that for the price they charge the hammer would be held together solid. Luckily I had some epoxy sitting around so I just used the epoxy to stick the head of the hammer to the wooden handle and now it works great. Maybe the seller should consider adding a round of epoxy to their production line, for the amount they charge it would certainly make the buyers more satisfied with the product.

This is a well made basic kit for stone carving.

Hammer head handle wedges fell out immediately and the tips of 2 chisels broke within hours knocking off burs on soft limestone block. Returned for full refund.
