Cute
Got this as a little fidget for my work desk during down time. I spent most of my time trying to figure out how to get it back into cube shape, so pretty enjoyable passing time between slow time at work not looking at my phone instead.

Fun Toy, but not as Sturdy as the Larger Sizes
After my Sister got me the larger CubeBot variants for my birthday/Christmas, I decided to get myself the Micro CubeBot Green as a more portable fidget option. While the wood construction is fine for its size, I was slightly disappointed in the tension/strength of the elastic cord that runs through the limbs. It's not a deal breaker for me and it would be theoretically strait forward to rethread better elastic cord through the toy using a tapestry needle and some stopper knots. Just know that if you enjoyed posing the larger ones, the smaller ones are not as suited for this.

Good stocking stuffer for all ages
I bought these as stocking stuffers for my four grandkids, ages 7 through 10. The kids quickly figured out how to turn the cube into a robot, but had a harder time figuring out how to turn it back into a cube. Their parents started helping them, and the whole family was entertained for hours.

Great fidget toy for kids
I have a larger version of this toy that was given by my office. The boys kept wanting to play with it so I bought these. They've held up very well after a couple of months, with only one corner being broken off of one piece.

Great figure to add to 52 toys cube collection
These figures are pretty sturdy.I picked up the black and white ones. The micro bots goes well with my 52 toys megabox and beastbox collection...Plus you can turn these figures into tables, throne chairs and cube carriers for the other figure...If your a 52 toys fan i suggest these cubebot figures for your collection..

Just a fun thing to manipulate
Honestly, I bought this for myself, not for a grandchild! It's fun to just diddle around with and make different configurations, while watching TV. I think it might be fun for someone who's trying to quit smoking, a diversion of focus, kind of like worry beads, but with more structure! Everyone I've shown it to has a funny fascination with it!Well constructed and comes with directions to get it back into the cube. Not as frustrating as Rubik's Cube, more like an easy puzzle.

Nicely built maybe a bit pricey

Probably not a toy
I gave this to my 9 year old son for Christmas. He’d had something similar a while back but had managed to break the string and kept asking for another. Unfortunately he’s managed to snap the toes or fingers off this one. He has a simpler linear version from a specialist autism site which has lasted. I think this is more suited to careful children and adults. It is a thing of beauty and would be perfect as a desk toy/wasting time while working from home

A brilliant family puzzle
I purchased this cubebot for our son as a Christmas present and it's been a hit with everyone! It comes made up as a cube in a small, colourful cardboard box that makes it look really appealing. The head of the cubebot has a friendly face that looks up at you when you open the box and really makes you want to have a go with it.The parts have a really well-made feel to them and the elastic holding them together feels good and strong. Switching it from a cube to a bot and back again isn't that tricky and once you've got the knack you'll be doing it in no time. The best thing about this kind of toy (aside from it not needing batteries and being quiet!) is that it's great for idle hands. I would thoroughly recommend this as a great gift for all ages.

Schickes Designspielzeug

Bashed box
Received my order today, and the box is quite badly bashed. I was meant to be giving this has an Xmas gift, but now won't be able to. Really disappointing.
