I just got it today right now and so far it’s doing what it needs to do! Really easy assembly. However the thing not give me a 5 star review is two things 1) maybe it just my desk but when I try rotating it the thing attached to the desk tends to rotate the same direction. It doesn’t fall off or anything so it’s not a big deal at all 2) When I switch where I want to rotate it, it tends to make a creaky sound when I put on weight on it a couple times. After that it’s silent Again it appears pretty sturdy other wise and does what i need it to do! I bought this because I recently bought a new keyboard that takes up the majority of my desk and needed more table space. Would still recommend to buy, give it a shot! I’ll update if I face any further problems after long term use, but I believe it should be great :)

I got one of these at first to see if it would work for my joystick and I was extremely lucky with my setup. Clamping this onto my center keyboard drawer that slides in and out, it is very firm and stable, however, it is also the perfect height to rotate over the arm of my computer chair, giving it a very good support for anything I can do with my joystick. Because the center keyboard drawer slides in and out on my computer desk, I can adjust the distance just by sliding the keyboard drawer and rolling back or forward my chair on the fly. Because the pad rotates, I can adjust any angle on the fly. Therefore, I got a second one for the other side to hold the throttle. If the height was not perfect for the pad to fit over the arms of my computer chair, then it would have been somewhat flimsy and I would have to be careful not to put too much weight on the joystick which is not a good thing. However, I am sure you can gloue or tie on a thin board or metal plate under the pad to make it less flimsy (UPDATE:After using this a bit, I found no support is needed and it is firm enough to really take pressure from intense gaming). That was my original plan before seeing how perfectly it fit over my chair arms. Even when not using my HOTAS, I can either rotate the pads out of the way or use them as an additional arm rest with a bigger surface area which is nice. Now, my original though was to clamp this on the actual arm of my chair at the end, but because of the padding on the chair arm, it was not stable, but again, my center keyboard mount worked out much better. Basically, for $45, I made myself a sweet gaming chair. ------------------- Updated: No longer even using the chair arms for support. This is solid enough to support my Thrustmaster T Flight just fine with me putting plenty of pressure on each side.

We have a small bedroom in our home dedicated as a music room. I use a laptop for recording, backing tracks and other general computer uses. Having to reach back over two tiers of equipment to get to the laptop was awkward and annoying. With this cool little device I just clamp it onto the front edge of my gear stand and I have easy mouse access to all the functions I need for my music production. It rotates 180 degrees under the stand when not in use so it's not sticking out in the room. While I've had no durability issues with it, it feels a bit flimsy under the weight of my hand when I use it, so I've found that using a light touch is the ticket. Otherwise, it works and performs great!

This is a decent mouse/joystick platform, but it doesn't quite live up to its description. The lower nut, which is supposed to lock the platform rotation, doesn't actually do so. There is no actual locking mechanism, just friction along a small plastic contact surface between the platform collar and the mount, and there was no amount of tightening the nut that would keep the platform from rotating under even a light force. The collar does have soft "stops" (softly clicks into place) as you rotate it, which is nice, but helps only slightly. A rubber gasket or something for extra friction would greatly improve this. The clamp has padding underneath which at least prevents scratches, but on my (inexpensive) desk did not stop the clamp from slipping. Hand-tightening the clamp nut was insufficient - the padding just doesn't provide much friction. At least the clamp and screw are metal, so it's nice and rigid and seems durable. Again, if this padding were a little more rubberized, it would help. Overall, this mount is useful enough, but I think I may have to apply my own less slippery pad to at least the clamp to make the performance more acceptable.

I'm using the platform for a trackpad. I tend to use the laptop while lazing on the couch and my arm was in an awkward position, resulting in arm pain. The platform hangs off the back of a small c-table and turns under. Now my arm is fully supported on the couch arm. Seems very sturdy , easy to set up and the trackpad stays in place. Great buy.

The tightening screw is awkward. I do like the ability to adjust for thicker desk or tables. There were no instructions. It is worth the money. It should last for a long Time as long as I don't get rough with it.

For a mouse pad that doesn't do damage to the wood or counter it's connecting to, this product works great. It may be that I won't be able to heavily lean on the mouse pad, however. It also does not swivel out and back under the counter readily. Feels like the vice grip loosens a little when moving it back and forth, and is therefore designed to remain in the available-to-use position. I can swing it back under the table to hide it, but that risks it slightly loosening each time. But so what, right? It's just a screw that tightens that keeps the thing in place. So just retighten. Of all the mass-manufactured ones I looked at on the internet, this offers the best functional mouse pad that does not harm the furniture to install. Plus it can be hidden away and not be in the way so as to prevent use of the table otherwise.

Justo lo que necesitaba para fijar a una mesa de comedor de 2" de espesor, muy buena calidad. Solo como oportunidad de mejora cambiaría la perilla móvil redonda por una cónica o plana y mas ergonómica para apretarla más fácil debajo de la mesa. Agregué además un reposamuñeca. Quedé muy satisfecho.
