Miquelrius Poly Spiral Notebooks Are Like My Right Hand
I use at least one multi-subject spiral notebook per year, to keep all of my notes and to-do lists about everything I need to accomplish or do. I have been doing this for many years, through many home improvement, gardening, and other major projects, and use the filled notebooks to refer back to quite often. I've used several brands of spiral notebooks but the Miquelrius notebooks have become like my right arm in this respect. They are sturdy, high quality, and well-built. The dual polypropylene covers (front and back) are just the right thickness and weight, the spiral itself is sturdy and appears to be covered with some type of finish. The spiral has never stretched on me or snagged on anything. The paper weight is substantial and I’ve never had any ink bleed through. I carry the notebook around with me for 12 months and more, and the notebook and its pages do not get ratty, dog-eared, or torn. You can't do that with thick paper- or cardboard-covered notebooks. The covers really protect the pages. For these reasons, I will ALWAYS buy Miquelrius poly notebooks, even if they don't have pretty covers anymore. All of the pages in the notebook have colored ends so that you can organize it by subject or whatever categories you choose. I personally use the colored ends to help me keep track of what page I am on at any given time, or to help me quickly refer back to particular notes I need to re-read. Miquelrius poly spiral notebooks also provide more writing space per page than regular U.S. notebooks. Instead of the blank inch at the top, Miquelrius provides a colored bar at the top of each side of the page, to write in whatever header you need. This equates to two extra usable, lined inches per page, or an additional 27.3 lined pages per notebook. The quality of the lines on the page are also better than standard U.S. spiral notebooks; the Miquelrius lines are crisp and clear whereas the U.S. notebook lines are fuzzy looking. My favorite Miquelrius notebooks were the Miquelrius Jordi LaBanda multi-subject notebooks (Target used to carry) which actually made writing down notes and to-do lists a little fashionable and fun. Unfortunately, I believe they stopped making them. I emailed the company and asked if they will be designing any more fashionable or pretty notebooks and they said they expect to release some new patterns in October 2020.This particular notebook, which is the Miquelrius 8.5 x11 Wirebound Notebook, 6-Subject, College-Ruled Spiral notebook, is 150 pages, which is a bit heftier than the previous Miquelrius notebooks I have purchased (which were 120 pages). Thanks for reading and please 'Like' my review if it was helpful to you :)

The Mercedes of notebooks
This is not a cheap notebook, but for someone who is willing to move beyond the mass-produced writing pads we used to buy in college or grad school and pay a premium for a stylish, durable, high-end way to take notes, it's a great value. The dual polypropylene covers are attractive and strong, and the quality of the paper is incredibly high and just the right thickness; ink never smears or smudges. The colored margins on the paper are boldly striking, and a great substitute for dividers. I've bought at least a couple of dozen of these notebooks in the last few years, and I hope Miquelrius never stops producing them in 8.5" x 11" for the U.S. market!

This Review is Not in My Best Interest.
These notebooks are hard to find, sell out fast, and come with a slightly-higher-than-average price tag, so the last thing I want to do is write a review that encourages any supply and demand problem. But I have to. I'm not generally wowed by office products but I'm obsessed with these notebooks. The pages are super smooth. They're also heavier than they appear -- you can write a note when you're angry knowing that any heavy-handed profanity won't be visible on the page beneath it. Similarly, there's no -- and I mean absolutely no -- bleed through with these pages, whether you're writing with a conventional pen or a thick marker. The color of each divided section of the notebook is lively and apparent from the side. The perforated pages stay put 'til you need them and then slide off easily. And the cover is flexible but downright indestructible ... spilled liquid, pen markings, etc. easily wipe off. Once I left one of the smaller notebooks (check 'em out -- they're fantastic too!) on the trunk of my car in the rain. By the time I ran outside to retrieve it I was sure the notebook would look like it had been sitting at the bottom of a well. It didn't -- the cover was no worse for wear and had protected the vast majority of the pages inside it.So if you want a notebook that always looks brand new, has stay-put-yet-easily-removable pages, offers multiple color-coded sections for different To Do lists or notes, and allows every page to be used no matter how heavy you write or what you're writing with, this is the notebook for you! Just leave one or two for me ...

The Best Ruled Notebook, No Contest
I told a friend the other day that I paid $17 for a ruled notebook and she immediately questioned why would I do that when I could buy about 17 regular notebooks for that price. The reason is of all the notebooks I have used over the years, Miquelruis makes the best one.- The pages are a super smooth, never gritty surface that work equally well for both pencil and pen writing- Each page has a space at the top to list the project that piece is tied to, making organizing items a breeze. The multi-subject one like this notebook has color coding on the spine, making it super quick to jump to a topic.- I like to write with a Pentel EnerGel Ink pen with a .7mm tip, which on Moleskine paper and most others will bleed right through to the second page, ruining half the notebook. There is zero bleed on Miquelruis pages and they also don't smear easily. Highlighters do not go through to the next page either.- For pencil writing I use the Papermate Sharpwriter #2, which can catch and sometimes rip cheap fiber paper. These pages just glide and they erase with zero leftovers.- The look nice, but they also are surprisingly durable.Worth every penny.

Favorite Notebook
This has been my favorite notebook for years and is really the only one I use. The price is steep, but I feel like it’s worth it because I haven’t found another notebook that compares.
